    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse sprechen für die Annahme, daß die in vivo festzustellende Wirkung von Penicillamin auf das Kollagen nicht auf eine Hemmung der Prolin- oder Lysin-Hydroxylase zurückzuführen ist. Indirekt bestätigen diese Befunde die bereits ausgesprochene Vermutung [8], daß Penicillamin in einer späten Phase der Faserbildung, nämlich beim Vorgang der Quervernetzung, eingreift.
    Notes: Summary The results confirm that in vivo the established effect of penicillamine on to collagen cannot be attributed to an inhibition of the proline- or lysine-hydroxylase. These results indirectly corroborate the hypothesis already expressed [8] that, in an advanced phase of the fibre formation, penicillamine intervenes into the function of the cross-linking.
