Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung 1.
Notes: Summary 1. Dibenylin, an α-Receptorblocksympatholyticum and Pronethanol a β-Receptorblocksympatholyticum produce both a total block of the receptors of the muscle dilatator pupillae in the dog's eye after retrobulbar stimulation by ATP. 2. The experiments on the dog's eye did not produce a differentiation of the α- and β-receptors (Ahlquist). 3. Duration of the block lasted about 60 minutes. 4. During the block, the size of the pupil did not change. In some experiments it turned into a mild miosis.
