Summary The identification and quantitative determination of barbituric acid derivatives and some other frequently occurring drugs in human body fluids and organs is described. Extraction methods and various stationary phases are discussed. Relative retention times for 20 barbiturates, 3 hydantoin derivatives and 7 other drugs are given. Complete separation of cyclobarbital and phenobarbital was achieved.

Zusammenfassung Die Identifizierung und quantitative Bestimmung von Barbitursäurederivaten und einigen anderen, häufig vorkommenden Arzneimitteln in menschlichen Körperflüssigkeiten und Organen wird beschrieben. Extraktionsmethoden und verschiedene stationäre Phasen werden diskutiert. Relative Retentionszeiten für 20 Barbiturate, 3 Hydantoinderivate und 7 andere Arzneistoffe werden angegeben. Dabei gelang die vollständige Auftrennung von Phenobarbital und Cyklobarbital.
