Abstract The creeping crystallisation was investigated as a method for the preparation of very pure salts. Applied for the creepingly crystallizing salts KCl, NaCl and BaCl2 (p. a. Merck) it is shown that these salts can be obtained in a purer state than is indicated in the guaranty.

Zusammenfassung Es wurde untersucht, inwieweit die kriechende Kristallisation als Methode zur Gewinnung von weitgehend gereinigten Salzen benutzt werden kann. Angewandt auf Präparate (p. a. Merck) der kriechend kristallisierenden Salze KCl, NaCl und BaCl2 zeigte sich, daß diese Salze in einem noch reineren Zustand erhalten werden können, als dies im Garantieschein angezeigt ist.
