    Notes: Summary Two cases of redundant nerve roots syndrome are presented. Both cases displayed coiled and elongated nerve roots of cauda equina, associated with proliferated fibrous tissue on the ligamentum flavum or with spondylosis and disc protrusion compressing the caudal dural sac. The pathogenesis of the syndrome of redundant nerve roots is briefly discussed.

    Description / Table of Contents: Résumé Présentation d'un cas inhabituel d'anévrisme de l'artère carotide interne extradurale avec trajet anormal de l'artère cérébrale antérieure et diverses anomalies des artères cérébrales. L'angiographie revéla en outre la position haute et la coarctation de la crosse de l'aorte et l'hypoplasie de l'artère sous-clavière gauche, mais le système vertébro-basilaire était normal.
    Abstract: Zusammenfassung Fallbericht über einen Patienten mit einem Aneurysma der Arteria carotis interna und zusätzlichen multiplen Anomalien der Hirnarterien.
    Notes: Summary An unusual case of the extradural internal carotid artery aneurysm associated with the abnormal course of the anterior cerebral artery and other multiple anomalies of the cerebral arteries was presented. In addition, a high position and a coarctation of the aortic arch and a hypoplasia of the left subclavian artery were demonstrated by angiography, but the vertebro-basilar system was essentially normal.

    Description / Table of Contents: Diazoalkane Complexes of Nickel(0) and Palladium(0) and Their Relevance to Carbenoid ReactionsA series of diazoalkane complexes with the composition ML2(diazoalkane) [M = Ni, Pd; L = tBuNC, PPh3; diazoalkane = 9-diazofluorene or diphenyldiazomethane] have been prepared and characterized, and their thermolysis and displacement reactions investigated. The nickel complexes catalyse a carbenoid reaction which leads to ketenimine formation. A carbene complex having the formula Pd(PPh3)2(C13H8) was obtained by low temperature thermolysis of Pd(PPh3)2(9-diazofluorene).
    Notes: Eine Reihe von Diazoalkankomplexen mit der Zusammensetzung ML2(Diazoalkan) [M = Ni, Pd; L = tBuNC, PPh3; Diazoalkan = 9-Diazofluoren oder Diphenyldiazomethan] wurde dargestellt und charakterisiert; ihre Thermolyse- sowie Verdrängungsreaktionen wurden untersucht. Die Nickelkomplexe katalysieren eine Carbenoidreaktion, die zur Keteniminbildung führt. Tieftemperaturthermolyse von Pd(PPh3)2(9-Diazofluoren) lieferte einen Carbenkomplex der Zusammensetzung Pd(PPh3)2(C13H8).
