Zusammenfassung Es wurden 97 Unfälle motorisierter Zweiräder mit 107 Beteiligten analysiert. Auffällig ist das jugendliche Durchschnittsalter der Motorrad- und Kleinkraftradlenker (23 Jahre), der kurzfristige Führerscheinbesitz (3 Jahre) und der sehr kurze Fahrzeugbesitz (1,2 Jahre), was eine mangelnde Fahr- und Verkehrserfahrung widerspiegelt. Verletzungsschwerpunkte liegen am Schädel, Thorax und den unteren Extremitäten. Die Verletzungsgefährdung durch den Primäranprall am Unfallgegner ist höher als durch den Sekundäraufprall (z. B. Straße), Verletzungen durch die eigene Maschine sind selten und weniger schwerwiegend.

Summary Ninety-seven motorcycle accidents, involving 107 participants, were analyzed. Particularly striking is the youthful average age of drivers of motorcycles and light-powered cycles (23 years), the short-term possession of the driving licence (3 years), and the even shorter time since acquisition of the vehicle (1.2 years), facts which reflect a lack of driving as well as of traffic experience. Centers of gravity for injuries are the skull, thorax, and lower extremities. The risk of injury from the primary impact with the accident opponent is greater than that from the secondary point of impact (i.e., the road). Injuries due to one's one vehicle are rare and less severe.
