Notes:
Measurements of Raman scattering from the vibronic origin in MnCO3 (rhodochrosite) are reported. The observed five Raman lines (184, 289, 719, 1086 and 1415 cm-1) are identified with and classified into the relevant phonon modes. Those lines show the theoretically expected polarization characteristics.
