Summary Methods are described for the determination of manganese (II) and phosphate based on the precipitation of MnNH4PO4 · H2O. A very pure and crystalline precipitate is obtained when working at boiling temperature, dropwise and with constant stirring and in the presence of large amounts of ammonium sulphate and hexamethylenetetramine. Zusammenfassung In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden Bestimmungsmethoden von Mangan und Phosphat beschrieben, die auf der FÄllung als MnNH4PO4 · H2O beruhen. Der Niederschlag wird in sehr reiner kristalliner Form erhalten, wenn man der Lösung gro\e Mengen an Ammoniumsulfat und Hexamethylentetramin zufügt und in der Siedehitze sehr langsam tropfenweise unter stÄndigem Rühren fÄllt. Bei der FÄllung mu\ stets die Manganlösung der Phosphatlösung zugesetzt werden und nicht umgekehrt.
