Syntheses with (Hydroxylamido(1-)-O,N)molybdenum(VI) Complexes and Alkyl Cyanides. The Structures of Bis(N-hydroxy-N-methylacetamidinato(1-)-O,N′)(N-methylhydroxylamido(1-)-O,N)oxomolybdenum(VI)Perchlorate and of μ-Oxo-bis[N-hydroxy-N-methylacetamidinato(1-)-O,N′ → Mo1;O→Mo2)-cis]-dioxo dimolybdenum(VI)In the presence of N-methylhydroxylammonium chloride, bis(N-methylhydroxylamido(1-)O,N-cis-dioxomolybdenum(VI) reacts with alkyl cyanides to yield complexes of molybdenum (VI) containing an N-hydroxy-N-methylalkanamidinato(1-)-O,N′ ligand (1,2,3). With excess water bis (N-methylalkanhydroxamato(1-)-O,O′)-cis-dioxomolybdenum(VI)complexes are formed (4, 5) with concomitant evolution of ammonia. The X-ray Structures of 1·ClO4 and of 3 have been determined.

Bis(N-methylhydroxylamido(1-)-O,N)-cis-dioxomolybdän(VI) reagiert mit Alkylcyaniden in Gegenwart von N-Methylhydroxylammonium-chlorid unter Bildung von Molybdän(VI)-Komplexen mit N-Hydroxy-N-methylalkanamidinato(1-)-O,N′-Liganden (1,2,3). Ist genügend Wasser vorhanden, so werden unter Entwicklung von ammoniak Bis (N-methylalkanhydroxamato(1-)-O,O′)-cis-dioxomolybdän(VI)Verbindungen gebildet (4, 5). Die Strukturen von 1·ClO4 und 3 wurden röntgenographisch bestimmt.
