The crystal structures of BaSi2, SrSi2 and of a new modification of CaSi2 are described. The Si arrangements in these structures are discussed. There are Si4 tetrahedrons in BaSi2, a Sin threedimensional framework in SrSi2 and twodimensional corrugated sheets of Si hexagons in CaSi2.

Die Kristallstrukturen von BaSi2 und SrSi2 werden beschrieben. Von CaSi2 wurde eine neue Modifikation aufgefunden. Die in den 3 Phasen nachgewiesenen Si-Verbände (Si4-Tetraeder im BaSi2, Sin-Raumnetzgerüst im SrSi2 und Sin-Schichten im CaSi2) werden vergleichend diskutiert.
