Addition of Organozinc Compounds to C = C-Bonds, III1). - Addition of Bis(2-methylallyl)zinc to para- and meta-Substituted StyrenesA Hammett correlation between the ratio of M → Cprim/M → Csec addition and the substituent constants s̰+ has been found for the addition of bis(2-methylallyl)zinc (1) to p- and m-substituted styrenes 2 - 8. Electron donating substituents favour M → Cprim addition, electron withdrawing substituents M → Csec addition.

Für die Addition von Bis(2-methylallyl)zink (1) an p- und m-substituierte Styrole 2 - 8 wurde eine Hammett-Beziehung zwischen dem Verhältnis von M → Cprim/M → Csek-Addition und den Substituentenkonstanten s̰+ gefunden. Elektronenabgebende Substituenten begünstigen die M → Cprim-Addition, elektronenanziehende Substituenten die M → Csek-Addition.
