    Notes: Aus dem in flüssigem Ammoniak schwach sauren o-C6H4(C≡CH)2 (Ks1 ⋍ 7·10-6) werden durch die Neutralisationsreaktion (1) sowie die Verdrängungsreaktionen (2), (3) die Alkalisalze o-C6H4(C≡CM)2 (M=Li bis Cs) rein dargestellt und ihre IR-Spektren diskutiert. Durch konduktometrische Titration in flüssigem Ammoniak wird die intermediäre Bildung der Monoalkalisalze bei der Neutralisationsreaktion (1) nachgewiesen.

    Notes: Die Reduktion einer Lösung von K2[Pt(CN)4] in flüssigem Ammoniak mit Kalium führt entgegen den Literaturangaben zur Bildung des [Pt(CN)2]2--Anions, das mit Tetraphenylphosphoniumchlorid als gelbes [(C6H5)4P]2[Pt(CN)2(NH3)2] gefällt wird. Dieser Komplex wird im Vakuum zum roten diamagnetischen [(C6H5)4P]2[Pt(CN)2] abgebaut. Die Umsetzung des Kaliumdicyanoplatinats(0) mit P(C6H5)3 bzw. (C6H5)2P-[CH2]2-P(C6H5)2 liefert unter Totalsubstitution die schon bekannten Platin(0)-Verbindungen Pt[P(C6H5)3]4 bzw. Pt[(C6H5)2P—[CH2]2—P(C6H5)2]2. Mit o-Phenanthrolin reagiert eine Lösung von K2[Pt(CN)2] in fl. NH3unter Bildung eines gelbgrünen kristallinen diamagnetischen Adduktes der wahrscheinlichen Struktur [K·2 o-C12H8N2]2[Pt(CN)2·oC12H8N2].  -  Eine Suspension von [(C6H5)4P]2[Pt(CN)2(NH3)2] in flüssigem Ammoniak bildet mit CO das gelbbraune diamagnetische [(C6H5)4P]2[Pt(CN)2(CO)2]. Das IR-Spektrum der Verbindung beweist die pseudotetraedrische Struktur des mit dem hypothetischen Pt(CO)4 isoelektronischen [Pt(CN)2(CO)2]2--Anions.

    Description / Table of Contents: Reactions of Tetrakis(alkylisocyanide)-nickel(0) Complexes with Triphenylphosphine and-arsineTetrakis(alkylisocyanide)-nickel(0) complexes react with triphenylphosphine and triphenylarsine in a mixture of liquid ammonia and ether or in benzene solution to give triphenylphosphine and triphenylarsine tris(alkylisocyanide)-nickel(0), respectively, which have been characterized by magnetic, i.r. spectroscopic, cryoscopic and conductivity measurements.
    Notes: Die relative instabilen Tetrakis(alkylisocyanide)-nickel(0)-Komplexe reagieren in flüssigem Ammoniak/Äther oder in benzolischer Lösung mit Triphenylphosphin und Triphenylarsin zu [Ni(CNR)3. X(C6H5)3] (R = Alkyl; X = p, As). Die erhaltenen Triphenylphosphin-bzw. Triphenylarsin-nickel(0)-tris alkylisocyanide wurden durch magnetische und IR-spektroskopische Untersuchungen sowie kryoskopische und Leitfähigkeitsmessungen charakterisiert.

    Notes: C=C Stretching Frequencies and δ31P Values of the Phosphanes P(C=cC6H5)n(C6H5)3-nThe vC ≡ C frequencies and the chemical shifts δ31P of the title compounds are reported and discussed. The δ31P values depend on the number n of the phenylethenyl groups (n=3,2,1,0) according to the equation δ31P=-(27.60 · n + 5.72). The shielding of the phosphorus by the C ≡ C moieties may be caused by an inductive effect of the Csp atoms of the P — Csp bonds.

    Description / Table of Contents: Alkali Salts of p-DiethynylbenzeneAccording to conductivity measurements p-diethynylbenzene is in liquid ammonia (-34°C) a weak acid like o-diethynylbenzene. The alkali salts p-C6H4-(C≡CM)2 (M = Na, K) are prepared from MC≡CH according to equation (1) and characterized as weak electrolytes. The i. r. spectra are discussed.
    Notes: Leitfähigkeitsmessungen am P-Diäthinylbenzol in flüssigem Ammoniak (-34°C) zeigen, daß dessen Acidität vergleichbar ist mit der des o-Diäthinylbenzols. Die Dialkalisalze p-C6H4-(C≡CM)2 (M = Na, K) werden aus den Hydrogenacetyliden MC≡CH gemäß Gleichung (1) rein dargestellt und als schwache Elektrolyte charakterisiert. Ihre IR-Spektren werden diskutiert.

Alkynyl[ethylenebis(diphenylphosphine)] complexes of Platinum(II)cis-[PtCl2(dpe)] reacts with alkali acetylides in liquid ammonia or liquid methylamine to yield nonionic monomers of the type cis-[Pt(C≡C̊)2(dpe)] (dpe = (C6H5)2P[CH2]2P(C6H5)2; R = H, CH3, C6H5). The analogous reaction with the divalent anion of o-diethynylbenzene, however, gives the polymeric cis-[Pt(C≡C)2C6H4(dpe)]n, cis-[Pt(C≡C)2C6H4(dpe)]n. With an excess of acetylide polymeric complexes of the type [K2Pt(C≡C̊)4(dpe)]n are precipitated.
    Notes: Durch Umsetzung von cis-[PtCl2(dpe)] mit Alkaliacetyliden in flüssigem Ammoniak bzw.flüssigem Methylamin werden nichtionische, einkernige Verbindungen des Typs cis-[Pt(C≡C̊)2(dpe)] (dpe = (C6H5)2P[CH2]2P(C6H5)2; R = H, CH3, C6H5) dargestellt. Eine analoge Reaktion mit dem zweiwertigen Anion des o-Diäthinylbenzols hingegen führt zu einem koordinationspolymeren cis-[Pt(C≡C)2C6H4(dpe)]n. Die Anwendung eines Acetylidüberschusses führt zu polymeren Komplexen des Typs [K2Pt(C≡C̊)4(dpe)]n.
