    Notes: Zusammenfassung Es wurde bei 2 Frauen nach Vollkastration 5mal durch künstliche Erzeugung eines physiologischen Zyklus in verschiedenen zeitlichen Abständen nach der Kastration der Einfluß der Ovarialhormone auf die vermehrte H.V.H.-Ausscheidung im Harn geprüft und eine prompte Reaktion im Verschwinden des gonadotropen Hormons festgestellt, das nach Beendigung der Ovarialhormonzufuhr bald wieder auftritt.

    Notes: Abstract 2,5-Diamino-1,3,4-thiadiazole (1) reacts with α-halogencarbonyl compounds to 2-imino-3-phenacyl(acetonyl)-5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazolines (3) which easily can be cyclised to 2-amino-6-aryl (alkyl)-imidazo[2,1-b]-1,3,4-thiadiazoles (4), the structure of which was proofed. On the basis of the amino function in position 2 these substances were able to form easilySchiff bases (5, 6, 7). Their semicyclic amidine system did not allow as yet to integraet it in a third ring system.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Nα-Tosylglycinäthylester-isonicotinoylhydrazon (1) reagiert vorwiegend unter Hydrazinolyse sowohl der C,N-Doppelbindung wie auch der Esterbindung zum unbeständigen Hydrazidin2, das sich in bekannter Reaktion zu4 und5 umsetzt. Eine durch ausschließliche Hydrazinolyse der Esterbindung von1 zu postulierende Acylhydrazidinzwischenstufe3 ist in Form des N4-Amino-1,2,4-triazols6 nachweisbar. Es werden ferner die ähnlich verlaufenden Reaktionen von Methyl-, N,N-Dimethyl- und Benzylhydrazin mit1 beschrieben. Phenylhydrazin, p-Tolylhydrazin, p-Chlor- und p-Brom-phenylhydrazin reagieren mit1 unter Bildung der N1,N5-diarylsubstituierten Formazane11 b–d und der am N4-arylaminosubstituierten 1,2,4-Triazole12 a–d. Im Gegensatz hierzu wird mit p-Nitrophenylhydrazin das Tosylglycinäthylester-p-nitrophenylhydrazon (13 e) erhalten.
    Notes: Abstract Nα-Tosylglycine ethyl ester isonicotinoylhydrazone (1) undergoes hydrazinolysis both of the C,N double bond and of the ester bond to yield as major product the unstable hydrazidine2, which reacts in a known manner to yield4 and5. An acyl hydrazidine3 postulated as an intermediate formed by hydrazinolysis of the ester bond alone can be isolated in the form of N4-Amino-1.2.4-triazole (6). The analogous reactions of methyl-, N.N-dimethyl- and benzylhydrazine with1 are also described. Phenylhydrazine, p-tolylhydrazine, p-chloro- and p-bromophenylhydrazine react with1 to form the N1,N5-diaryl substituted formazans11 b–d and the N4-arylamino-1.2.4-triazoles12 a–d. With p-nitrophenylhydrazine, however, the tosylglycine ethyl ester-p-nitrophenylhydrazone is obtained.

    Notes: Abstract Ethyl 2- or 3-acylaminoimidate hydrochlorides react with substituted aromatic and aliphatic acid hydrazides to form the N-protected ethyl aminocarboxylate-acylhydrazones1 a–p. The cyclization of N1-aroylsubstituted acylhydrazones to the 1.3.4-oxadiazoles2 a–k is described.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung 2,5-Diamino-1,3,4-thiadiazol (1) reagiert unter verschiedenen Bedingungen mit Acetessigsäure-methyl bzw.-äthylester zum 2-Amino-5-oxo-7-methyl-5H-1,3,4-thiadiazolo[3,2−a]pyrimidin (4), das auch aus1 und Diketen in Wasser über 5-Amino-2-imino-3-acetoacetyl-1,3,4-thiadiazolin (8) — einen endocyclisch acylierten α-Amino-N-heterocyclus — erhalten wird. Dagegen setzt sich1 mit Malonsäuredimethylester, Acetessigsäure-tert.-butylester oder Diketen zu den 2,5-Bis-[acylamino]-1,3,4-thiadiazolen6 und7 um, die keine Tendenz zu Ringschlüssen zeigen.
    Notes: Abstract 1 reacts under various conditions with methyl or ethyl acetoacetate to4, which is also obtained by reaction of1 with diketene in water via the endocyclic acylated α-amino-N-heterocycle8. In contrast,1 reacts with dimethyl malonate,tert.-butyl acetoacetate or diketene to6 and7, which show no tendency to cyclise.

    Notes: Zusammenfassung 1. Von den vierMonostroma-Arten Helgolands sind drei neu für das Gebiet. Sie sind in den nördlichen Meeren beheimatet. 2. Der Lebenszyklus jeder Art folgt einem eigenen Schema.Monostroma grevillei ist ein Diplohaplont mit heteromorphen Generationen. Der einzellige Sporophyt ist kalkbohrend, der Gametophyt bleibt in Kultur sackartig. BeiM. arcticum folgen gleichartige, in Kultur sackförmige Generationen mit ungeschlechtlichen zweigeißeligen Zoosporen aufeinander.M. leptodermum trägt einen flächigen Thallus auf einem röhrigen Stiel und vermehrt sich durch viergeißelige ungeschlechtliche Schwärmer. BeiM. undulatum stehen zwei ungeschlechtliche, heteromorphe Generationen — flächenförmig bzw. einzellig, beide mit viergeißeligen Schwärmern — miteinander im Wechsel. 3. Auf der Grundlage aller bisher bekannten Ergebnisse über die Entwicklung derMonostroma-Arten wird die Gattung neu gegliedert.
