Summary The following laboratory tests were performed on patients with barbiturate intoxications and other exogenous intoxications: Serum creatin, serum potassium, CPK, SGOT, SGPT and GLDH. A striking elevation of CPK, SGOT and creatin was found in all (statistical analysis:p=〈0,05). Determination of the correlation coefficientr gave a statistically significant (p=〈0.001) correlation between CPK and creatin and SGOT and creatin, and a high correlation (p=〈0.05) between CPK and SGOT. On the basis of these findings hypoxemic damage to the skeletal muscle with intoxications are is discussed.

Zusammenfassung Bei Patienten mit Schlafmittelvergiftungen und anderen exogenen Intoxikationen wurden bei der Aufnahme folgende klinisch-chemische Analysen durchgeführt: Serumspiegel des Kreatins und Kaliums, Aktivitätsbestimmungen der CPK, SGOT, SGPT und GLDH. Dabei zeigte sich in allen Fällen eine gegenüber der Kontrolle statistisch auffällige Erhöhung der CPK- und SGOT-Aktivität und des Kreatinspiegels. Bei der Berechnung des Korrelationskoeffizientenr ergaben sich statistisch gesicherte Zusammenhänge zwischen CPK und Kreatin, SGOT und Kreatin und statistisch auffällige Korrelationen zwischen CPK und SGOT. Es werden nach diesen Befunden hypoxämische Schädigungen der Skeletmuskulatur bei Vergiftungen diskutiert.
