A new method for synthesizing cyclic oligoamides of ε-aminocaproic acid by cyclisation of linear oligoamides with active derivatives of phosphorus acid (pyrophosphites and chlorophosphites) and phosphoric acid (polyphosphoric acid esters) in high dilution is described. All polymeric homologous rings from the 14-membered cyclo-diamide up to the 42-membered cyclo-hexaamide are obtained in high yields and in quantities of grams. The advantages compared with earlier cyclisation methods are discussed.A series of molecular uniform linear oligomers may be simply prepared in high yields under similar conditions. Benzyloxycarbonyl oligoamides are coupled with oligoamide benzyl esters followed by removal of the protecting groups.

Es wird eine neue Methode zur Synthese der polymerhomologen cyclischen Oligoamide der ε-Aminocapronsäure vom 14-gliedrigen Cyclo-diamid bis zum 42-gliedrigen Cyclohexaamid in hohen Ausbeuten und in Gramm-Mengen beschrieben. Sie erfolgt durch direkte Cyclisierung der linearen Oligoamide mit aktiven Derivaten der phosphorigen Säure (Pyrophosphite und Phosphorigsäure-chloride) und der Phosphorsäure (Polyphosphorsäureester) nach dem ZIEGLERschen Verdünnungsprinzip. Die Vorteile vor den bisher verwendeten Ringschlußmethoden werden aufgezeigt.Das gleiche Verfahren stellt auch einen besonders einfachen und ergiebigen Weg zur Gewinnung molekulareinheitlicher linearer Oligoamide durch Verknüpfung von Carbobenzoxy-oligoamiden mit Oligoamid-benzylestern und anschließender hydrogenolytischer Abspaltung der Schutzgruppen dar.
