Conclusions 1. α-Polyfluoroalkylbenzyl dichlorophosphates alkylate primary, secondary, and tertiary polyfluorinated alcohols, forming the corresponding ethers. 2. The introduction of a p-methyl or m-trifluoromethyl substituent into one of the aromatic rings of the di-α-trifluoromethylbenzyl ether, which leads to a disruption of the symmetry of the molecule, causes a decrease in the magnitude of the diastereomeric anisochronism of the CH andα-CF3 groups.
