Notizen: Abstract The purpose of our research is to obtain an understanding of the binding mechanism and to the correlations in term of chemical structure and the potentiactive drug activity. The interaction of 5-trifluoromethyluracil (although 5-trifluoromethyluracil do not used as anticancer drug, the structure of the compound has similar structure with 5-fluorouracil) with sodium poly-α,L-glutamate in aqueous solution was studied with a spectral method and viscosity measurement. From the binding data, the molar change in enthalpy, entropy and the number of binding sites on polymer were calculated. It is very interesting that the value ofδH

Notizen: Abstract The spin-polarized electronic structure around the light impurity nuclei such as boron and positive muon at tetrahedral interstitial site of silicon is calculated by use of the local spin-density functional formalism and the LCAO-Green's function method. A paramagnetic solution is obtained, and hyper-deep impurity states below the valence band caused by the strong hybridization between the impurity orbitals and the tails of the surrounding host orbitals give large positive contribution to the hyperfine field. The Is core-polarization makes large negative contribution to the hyperfine field in the case of boron.

Notizen: Summary The immunoglobulin class of rheumatoid factor (RF) in sera and synovial fluids of patients with rheumatic diseases was measured by a solid-phase enzyme immunoassay. IgG-RF was frequently found in seronegative sera as well as in seropositive sera of rheumatic patients. Titers of IgG-RF were higher in the active phase than in the inactive phase of SLE and showed a correlation to the levels of hypocomplementemia and circulating immune complexes in SLE sera. Titers of IgA-RF were likewise higher in the active-phase of SLE with a correlation to titers of circulating immune complexes. IgA-RF was also found frequently in sera of patients with Sjögren's syndrome.
