The experimentalg-factorg exp=+1.117(16) has been analysed in the frame of particle-rotor models and gave evidence for a large deformation of this state.

    Notes: Abstract Two short-lived isomeric states in118Sb have been investigated by the118Sn(p, n),118Sn(d, 2n) and115In(α, n) reactions. The TDPAD method on solid and liquid metallic targets was used to measure the electromagnetic moments of these states. The results of the experiments are: $$\begin{gathered} T_{1/2} = 13.4{\text{ }}(3){\text{ }}ns I^\pi = 3^ - {\text{ }}g = - 1.254(31){\text{ }}|Q| = 0.25{\text{ }}(5){\text{ }}b, \hfill \\ T_{1/2} = 22.8{\text{ }}(4){\text{ }}ns I^\pi = 7^ + {\text{ }}g = + 0.680(18){\text{ }}|Q| 〉 1.4{\text{ }}b. \hfill \\ \end{gathered}$$ Pure $$[\pi 2d_{5/2} \otimes v1h_{1{\text{ }}1/2} ]_{3 - }$$ and $$[\pi 1g_{9/2}^{ - 1} \otimes v2d_{5/2}^{ - 1} ]_{7 + }$$ configurations have been established for the two isomeric states. An experimental evidence concerning the participation of the 1g 9 2/−1 proton shell-model intruder excitation into the positive parity low-lying level structure of the odd-odd118Sb nucleus was obtained.

    Notes: Abstract The two short-lived isomeric states in112In have been reinvestigated by means of the112Cd(d, 2n) and109Ag (α, n) reactions. Measurements of delayed X- andγ-ray, lifetime and TDPAD spectra have been performed. A 6.32(3) keVγ-ray has been identified in the isomeric decay and anM1 multipolarity has been assigned to it on the basis of the measured internal conversion coefficients:α L =196(39) andα tot=231(35). TheE1+M2(δ =+0.24(4)) andE2 multipolarities have been determined for the 263 and 188 keV transitions deexciting the 8−(T 1/2=2.82(2) μs) and 7+ (T 1/2=0.93(2) μs) isomeric states, respectively. A revised isomeric decay scheme is presented.

    Notes: Abstract The magnetic and electric quadrupole moments of the 7+ isomeric state in116Sb withT 1/2=11.9(6) ns have been measured by TDPAD method. The state was populated in the113In(α, n) reaction atE α = 22 MeV. The obtained results are:μ=+4.69(10) n.m. and ¦Q¦=167(39) fm2. Based on these electromagnetic moments, for the 7+ isometric state, head of aΔI=1 rotational band, the intruder configuration [π(1g 9 2/−1 )⊗v(2d 5 2/−1 )] has been established and a deformation parameter ofβ=0.19 has been determined.

    Notes: Abstract The electric quadrupole coupling constant of the 7+ 350.8 keV isomeric state in112In has been measured by the TDPAD method in the polycrystalline metallic Cd lattice at 489 K. The determined quadrupole moment |Q| (7+)=103(3) fm2 was compared with the empirical estimation according to the additivity relation and the calculated value within the interacting boson-fermion-fermion/odd-odd truncated quadrupole phonon model. The quadrupole moment of the 8− 613.7 keV isomeric state has been remeasured as |Q|(8−)=9.5(3) fm2.
