Notizen:
Summary From 1950 to 1984, 39 patients with pheochromocytoma have been operated on. Then were two cases of lethal complications, but no more occurred after the introduction of the preoperativeα-block, phenoxybenzamine. Also, the typical perioperative circulation crises due to obligatory preoperative reexpansion of the intravascular volume were observed in a slighter form, which was more quickly compensated for. New method of topographic diagnostics, i.e., ultrasonics, CT, scanning with MIBG, have solved the previous problem with this tumor its variable localization.
