Notes: Anthocyanins of northern crowberry (Empetrum nigrum ssp. hermaphroditum (Hagerup) Böcker) were extracted from the berry with acidified ethanol and purified with solvent extractions and ion exchange chromatography. Separation of anthocyanins and analysis of aglycones were carried out with HPLC. Glycosidic units were analyzed with GLC-MS. Twelve nonacylated monosides were found: glucoside, galactoside and arabinoside of delphinidin and petunidin, and galactoside and arabinoside of cyanidin, peonidin and malvidin. Three main anthocyanins were galactosides of cyanidin, dolphinidin and malvidin which formed about 60% of total anthocyanins.

Notes: Abstract We present an exact solution of the anomalous chiral Schwinger model using Fermionic variables. We implement infrared regularization by considering the model on a spatial circleS 1. Quantum effects modify the gauge constraints through the appearance of Schwinger terms in the gauge algebra. We perform a careful analysis of the resulting second class gauge constraints by implementing Dirac's method at the quantum level and obtain the spectrum of the theory. We get a consistent unitary Lorentz invariant theory for particular values of the counterterms. We find that when we regulate the fermionic sector of the model without reference to the gauge fields Lorentz invariance requires that we add both Lorentz variant and gauge variant counterterms.

Notes: The enantiomer separation of 2-halocarboxylic acid esters on two chiral nickel(II) bis-((perfluoroacyl)terpeneketonates) by complexation gas chromatography is described. The quantitative entiomer separation of branched 2-halocarboxylic acid esters is achieved with nickel (II) bis (3-(heptafluorobutanoyl)(1R, 2S)-pinan-4-onate) 1 while unbranched 2-halocarboxylic acid esters are preferably separated on nickel(II) bis(3-(heptafluorobutanoyl)-(1S)-10-methylenecamphorate) 2. The metal chelates 1 and 2 are accessible in both enantiomeric forms allowing the determination of the enantiomeric excess (ee) effective and reliable.
