Zusammenfassung Um die humorale Immunantwort bei der Haut- und Nieren. transplantation zu prüfen, wurde auf 10 Lewis-Ratten die Haut und bei 24 Lewis. Ratten die Nieren von LBNF,-Ratten verpflanzt. Die Hauttransplantate überlebten 8,5 ± 0,2 Tage, die Nierenempfänger 16,1 ± 1,8 Tage. Postoperativ wurden die lymphocytotoxischen Antikörpertiter sowie die Hämagglutinintiter untersucht. Am 5. Tag waren — unabhängig von Haut- oder Nierentransplantationen — die lymphocytotoxischen Antikörpertiter teilweise, die Hämagglutinintiter dagegen nicht nachweisbar. Am 7. Tag konnten wir jedoch die Antikörpertiter bei allen Empfängern nachweisen. Die humoralen Antikörpertiter stiegen bei den Nierenempfängern am 7. Tag stark an und blieben danach unverändert. Bei den Hautempfängern blieben sie dagegen sehr niedrig. Die Hämag glutinintiter ergaben einen niedrigeren Titer als die lymphocytotosischen Autikörpertiter, wenn sie auch die gleiche Tendenz wie die letzteren zeigten. Bei den zwei Empfängern, die länger als 3 Wochen überlebten, waren -von Anfang an sehr niedrige lymphocytotoxische Antikörpertiter und keine Hämagglutinintiter meßbar. Bei den Tieren, die mit Spenderlymphocyten behandelt wurden, konnten wir höhere Antikörpertiter als bei den Hautempfängern und niedrigere als bei Nierenempfängern feststellen.

Summary To study the humoral immune response in skin and kidney transplantation, we grafted the skin of LBNT1 rats on 10 Lewis-rats and LBNF,-rat-kidneys into 24 Lewis-rats. The skin grafts survived 8.5 ± 0.2 days and the kidney recipients 16.1 ± 1.8 days. Postoperatively we examined the lymphocytotoxic antibody titers and hemagglutinin titer in the serum of recipients. On the 5th day we could detect in some of the recipients the titer of lymphocytotoxic antibody and no hemagglutinin titer, but on 7th day both antibodies in all recipients. The humoral antibody increased in the kidney recipients very rapidly on the 7th day and thereafter remained unchanged, in the skin graft recipients but they showed always very low titers. In general the hemagglutinin titers were lower than the titers of lymphocytotoxic antibody, but showed the same tendency. In the 2 kidney recipients, which survived longer than 3 weeks, the lymphocytotoxic antibody titers were very low and hemagglutinin titers undetectable. In the animals which were treated with lymphocytes of the donor type we could find higher titers of both humoral antibodies than in the skin graft-recipients and lower titers than in the kidney recipients.
