Zusammenfassung Mittels 14C-markierter Hämoglobinlösung prüften wir die Resorptionsverhältnisse für Porphyrin im Duodenum der Ratte. Die Markierung des Hämoglobins gelang durch Inkubation von Entenerythrocyten mit 14C-Delta-Aminolävulinsäure. Die Einbaurate der markierten Verbindung in das Hämoglobin betrug etwa 12%. Ein Vergleichsversuch mit 14C-Glycin ergab eine um das 2,7fach höhere Einbaurate. Nach intraduodenaler Gabe der markierten Hämoglobinlösung wurde Galle durch eine Gallenfistel gesammelt. Aus der Summe der in der Gallenflüssigkeit gefundenen Radioaktivität ließ sich die Resorptionsrate für Porphyrin aus Hämoglobin näherungsweise ermitteln; sie betrug 2,5–3,2%.

Abstract The resorption of porphyrin from the duodenum was studied in rats using a solution of 14C-tagged haemoglobin. The tagging was carried out by incubation of duck erythrocytes with 14C-Delta-ALA, resulting in an incorporation quotient of 12%. A comparative test with 14C-glycine resulted in a 270% higher incorporation quotient. The tagged haemoglobin was given by duodenal gavage and the bile collected by a bile-duct-fistula. The resorption rate for haemoglobin or porphyrin was calculated from the total radioactivity found in the bile. It was 2.5–3.2% of the applied dose.
