Proton-Resonance Studies of the Inversion at Tervalent Nitrogen Atoms, 1111,. Separation of the Invertomers of 2,3-Dimethyl-3-benzyl-oxaziridineThe first separation of the invertomers of oxaziridines was accomplished with the title compounds 3a and 3b which were obtained in 94% and 97% purity, respectively, by thin-layer chromatography. The results of equilibrations at 115° and 120° were δG+a = 32.45 and δG+b = 31.4 kcal/mole.

Die erste Trennung inversionsisomerer Oxaziridine gelang an den Titelverbindungen 3a und 3b, die durch präparative Dünnschichtchromatographie in 94- bzw. 97proz. Reinheit erhalten wurden. äquilibrierungen bei 115° und 120° ergaben δG+a = 32.45 und δG+b = 31.4 kcal/Mol.
