    Notizen: Summary The spatial distribution of inhibitory effects mediated by spino-olivocerebellar pathways and evoked by stimulation of the FRA was studied in Deiters' nucleus by intracellular recordings and extracellular measurements of positive field potentials. At a given recording site individual nerves greatly varied in their effectiveness: Q and Saph, Tib and FDL were usually the most effective, while GS had very little effect. When comparing several recording sites, various patterns of dominating and nondominating nerves were found, resulting in a somewhat patchy distribution of responses. The results were supported by intracellular recordings, which showed that CF-mediated IPSPs can be evoked from a limited number of nerves only. The findings show that a discriminative pattern exists in the FRA-evoked spino-olivocerebellar-mediated inhibition. In addition, Deiters neurones were found in which the inhibition was evoked from a large number of fore- and hindlimb nerves. Such a generalized inhibitory pattern may be involved in interlimb coordination during locomotion.

    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Zusammenfassung In Narkose wurde nach intragastraler Futtergabe bei Kontrollhunden sowie 4 Wochen nach proximal selektiver (PSV) oder trunculärer Vagotomie mit Pyloroplastik (TV) Serum Gastrin radioimmunologisch und die gastrointestinale Durchblutung mittels Microspheres bestimmt. Nach PSV war die Durchblutung 60 min postprandial nicht mehr, nach TV noch in Antrummucosa und Bulbus duodeni stimulierbar. Zwischen der Hypergastrinämie nach PSV und TV bestand kein Unterschied. In der gastralen Phase scheint der N. vagus — gastrinunabhängig — den größten Stimulus auf die gastrointestinale Durchblutung mit Ausnahme von Antrummucosa und Bulbus duodeni auszuüben.
    Notizen: Summary Dogs that had undergone proximal selective vagotomy (PSV) or truncal vagotomy and pyloroplast (TV) 4 weeks before and control animals received food intragastrally while anaesthetized. Serum gastrin was determined by radioimmunoassay, microcirculation by microspheres. After PSV blood flow no longer increased 60 min postprandially, and after TV blood flow increased only in the antral mucosa and the duodenal bulb. There was no difference between the hypergastrinemia following PSV and that after TV. In the gastral phase the vagal nerve seems to exert the strongest stimulus on the gastrointestinal blood flow, exept in the antral mucosa and duodenal bulb; this stimulus is not dependent on gastrin.

    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Zusammenfassung Von 1960-1980 wurden an der Chirurgischen Klinik der Universität München 39 Patienten wegen maligner hormonaktiver Tumoren endokriner Organe operiert: 14 Patienten hatten ein medulläres Schilddrüsen-Carcinom, 5 ein Epithelkörperchen-Carcinom, 7 ein malignes Insulinom, 1 ein malignes Gastrinom und 12 Patienten ein Nebennierencarcinom (Cushing-Syndrom n = 10, AGS n = 1, Phäochromocytomn = 1). Die Besonderheiten dieser malignen Tumoren liegen in der Tumoreigenschaft selbst, Hormonsekretion, chirurgischer und spezieller medikamentöser Therapie.
    Notizen: Summary In the department of surgery 39 patients had been operated upon from 1960 to 1980 because of malignant hormone-active tumors: 14 patients with medullary carcinoma of the thyroid, 5 with carcinoma of the parathyroid gland, 7 with malignant insulinoma, 1 with malignant gastrinoma, and 12 patients with carcinoma of the adrenals (Cushing's syndrome n = 10, AGS n = 1, pheochromocytoma n = 1). The peculiarity of these tumors is based upon the features of the tumor itself, of hormone secretion, and on surgical and special medical therapy.

Alle Patienten zeigten eine Hypergastrinämie, die unter Placebo als auch unter der Medikamenten-Gabe bestehen blieb. Die erhöhten Gastrinwerte könnten einen Stimulus für die hohe Säuresekretion in diesen Streßulcus gefährdeten Patienten darstellen.
    Notizen: Summary In nine patients at our intensive care unit with one or multiple organ failure, mean acid secretion/h was measured with placebo 31 mEq, cimetidine (8 × 200 mg IV) 7.5 mEq, pirenzepine (4 × 10 mg IV) 22 mEq and cimetidine + pirenzepine 4.0 mEq. All patients showed hypergastrinemia that was present under placebo as well as drug regimen. Increased gastrin might be one stimulus for increased acid secretion in these high-risk patients for stress ulceration.

    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Zusammenfassung Immunisierte Hunde zeigen eine antigenspezifische gastrale Verdauungsstimulation. Dieses Phänomen ließ sich nun erstmals in vitro (Zellsuspension) nachweisen. In der von evertierten Antren immunisierter Wistar-Ratten enzymatisch gewonnenen Mucosazellsuspension zeigte sich nach Inkubation mit Antigen (100 μg/ml) wie Interleukin 1 (70 E/ml) eine signifikante Gastrinfreisetzung (p 〉 0,05). Diese Tatsache spricht für das Vorliegen eines lokalen Immunmechanismus, der Antigene erkennt und funktionell mit dem endokrinen System gekoppelt ist.
    Notizen: Summary Antigen-specific stimulation of gastric functions has been found in immunized dogs. This phenomenon has now been demonstrated in vitro (cell suspension) for the first time. Antral mucosa of everted gastric sacs from Wistar rats was removed enzymatically. Incubation with antigen (100 μg/ml), and also with Interleukin-I (70 U/ml) led to a significant release of gastrin (p 〈 0.05). These data appear to indicate a local immunological mechanism that can recognize antigens and is linked functionally with the endocrine system.
