Notes: Of 124 patients with eczema and dermatitis patch tested by the European standard series of allergens in the period Horn April to October 1989, 59 cases showed sensitivity to 1 or more allergens, Potassium dichromate, nickel sulphate and cobalt chloride were the 3 major sensitizers with a frequency of 17.9%. 13.8% and 10.6%, respectively. The office and factory workers showed higher incidence of positive reactions than the student group. The environment of the office and the factory seems to be the potential Source of exacerbating factors of eczematous skin disease.

Notes: Ultrasonic spray pyrolysis has been applied to deposit MgO thin films on Si(100) and quartz glass substrate. The microstructures and properties of the as-grown MgO thin films were examined by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, spectrophotometer and semiconductor resistivity meter. The results indicates that the MgO thin films deposited under optimal conditions shows smooth and dense surface without visible pores or defects over the substrate, and as well asgood thickness uniformity. Almost completely (100)-oriented MgO films with the transmission higher than 90% in UV/VIS region and the resistivity at least in the order of 107Ω-cm were obtained. MgO thin film with such a crystal quality seems to be very suitable for acting as a buffer layer for the subsequent epitaxial growth of films

Notes: Atomic-scale smooth Pt electrode films have been deposited on MgO/TiN buffered Si (100) by the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique. The whole growth process of the multilayer films was monitored by using in-situ reflection high energy electron diffraction (RHEED) apparatus. The Pt/MgO/TiN/Si(100)stacked structure was also characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The HREED observations show that the growth mode of the Pt electrode film is 2D layer-by-layer growth. It is found that the (111)-oriented Pt electrode film has acrystallinity comparable to that of monocrystals. The achievement of the quasi-single-crystal Pt electrode film with an atomic-scale smooth surface is ascribed to the improved crystalline quality of the MgO film

Notes: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the possibility of rod-like Al2TiO5 / α-Al2O3composites in situ formation via a mechanical activation process. A QM-ISP-4 Planetary Mill wasemployed to activate mechanically the mixtures of anatase and corundum in air at room temperaturefor different times. The milled powder mixtures were pressed into platelets and then sintered in air at1300°C for 3 h. The XRD results showed that only Al2TiO5 and α-Al2O3 phases could be detected inthe sintered samples when the activated time reached 30 hours. The SEM observations illustrated theunusual microstructure of Al2TiO5 / α-Al2O3 ceramic composite materials. Abnormal grains withlongitudinal length ~10 μm23 transversal length ~1 μm and equiaxed matrix grains of ~3 μm on anaverage were observed. EDXA proved that the rod-like grains and the fine equiaxed matrix grainswere composed of Al2TiO5 and α-Al2O3, separately. The roles of anisotropic grain growth caused bymechanical activation are discussed for the in situ formation of rod-like Al2TiO5 / α-Al2O3 ceramiccomposite materials

Notes: Well-crystallized LiFePO4 cathode materials were synthesized by NaCl-KCl molten saltmethod. The effect of heating time on the structure, morphology and electrochemical properties of thematerials were studied in detail. Single olivine-type LiFePO4 phase was obtained, and the morphologyand particle size of the powders could be controlled by changing the synthesis conditions. It was shownthat LiFePO4 cathode material synthesized at 680°C for 3h with the salt content N=2 (defining the molarratio of NaCl-KCl/LiFePO4 as N) had a narrow particle-size distribution and spherical or quasi-sphericalshape. Meanwhile, the tap density of the cathode material reached the maximum of 1.501gcm-3. Thecharge-discharge test indicated that the initial charge and discharge specific capacity reached 138mAhg-1and 125mAhg-1 respectively at the current density of 0.3mAcm-2

Notes: In the appearance design of a product, the designer should combine his/her creativethinking with the industrial design approaches and skills to carry out the creative design from theaspects of product’s shape, color and texture, etc. However, from the viewpoint of the brand, acompany or a product should have its own unique style of appearance. How to balance the creativityof designer and the original style is often a contradiction in product design. Based on thisconsideration, this paper presented a concept of Inheriting Degree (ID) in product appearance design. The visual characteristics of the product appearance were analyzed first and the hierarchical systemfor ID in product appearance design was established. The idiographic indexes of ID were given for aproduct’s appearance in shapes, colors and textures, respectively. By introducing set theory, themathematical models were established and calculation formulae for each kind of ID were proposed. The results of this paper would provide a theoretical foundation for designer to generate designconcepts in brand products. It also would provide a guideline for the development of computer aideddesign and evaluation system for the appearance design of brand products

Notes: A simple chemical solution deposition method was developed for the preparation ofLa0.7Ca0.3MnO3 (LCMO) thin films. The LCMO thin films were prepared on Si/SiO2/TiO2/Pt substrates by spin-coating method, followed by heat-treatment at 900ºC. The fabrication process of the LCMO thin film was investigated by means of TG-DSC, FTIR, XRD, FE-SEM and EPMA. The electric pulse induced reversible resistance switching is observed in the Ag-LCMO-Pt sandwich structure

Notes: Carbonaceous fillers have been widely applied in electrically conductive coatings due to their cheaper, steady electrically conductive capability and other excellent performances. Electrically conductive coatings were synthesized by using graphite and carbon black as fillers in the alkyd resin matrices. Influences of various fillers on electrical conductivity of coatings have been investigated in detail

Notes: ZnO thin films were grown on single-crystal Si(100) substrate by pulsed laser deposition (PLD)technique. The crystal structure and electrical properties were investigated as a function of oxygen partialpressure. Results indicate that highly c-axis oriented ZnO films can be obtained at all oxygen pressurerange. With the increase of oxygen pressure, the crystallinity is further enhanced and the film presentssmooth, uniform and dense packed columnar microstructure. Hall measurement indicates the resistivityof ZnO films increases with oxygen pressure. ZnO film grown at optimum conditions is employed tofabricate the MSM structured UV detectors with Ti/Pt/Au interdigital electrode configuration by standardphotolithography and lift-off technique. The I-V characteristic and photo response measurement indicatea good ohmic contact between the ZnO film and electrode, and significant photoresponsivity underultraviolet illumination
