Zusammenfassung Gold- und Silberionen können in wäßriger Lösung mittels Zinnoxidhydrat gefällt und nach Zugabe von 2-Phenylethylenphosphonsäure sowie Reagentien zur Schaumbildung durch Flotation leicht abgetrennt werden. Nach der Anreicherung kann durch Flammenabsorptionsspektrometrie eine quantitative Gehaltsbestimmung durchgeführt werden. Extraktion des Analyten mit i-Amylalkohol schaltet den Störeinfluß von Schwermetallionen bei der Goldbestimmung aus. Nach Flotation aus 1 l Lösung können Gehalte von ng · ml−1 ausreichend sicher und richtig bestimmt werden.

Summary Gold and silver ions can be precipitated in aqueous solutions by means of stannic hydroxide and after addition of 2-phenylethylene phosphonic acid and foaming agents be easily separated by flotation. After enrichment a quantitative analysis can be carried out by flame atomic-absorption spectroscopy. The disturbing influence of heavy metal ions in gold assaying is eliminated by the extraction of the substance to be analyzed by means of i-amyl alcohol. After flotation of 1 l solution contents of ng · ml−1 can be analyzed with sufficient accuracy and precision.
