Zusammenfassung Zur überprüfung der für die Prognose des Papillencarcinoms relevante Faktoren wurde das eigene Krankengut vom 1. 1. 1978 bis zum 31. 12. 1987 retrospektiv analysiert. In dem genannten Zeitraum wurden 32 Patienten mit einem Carcinom der Papilla Vateri behandelt. überprüft wurde der Einfluß von Alter, Geschlecht, Anamnesedauer, Tumorgröße, Tumormorphologie und Tumorstadium auf die Prognose. Die 5-Jahres-Überlebensrate betrug nach partieller Duodenopankreatektomie 56,1 %. Die Prognose war statistisch signifikant von der Tumorgröße, dem Vorliegen von Lymphknotenmetastasen und dem Tumorstadium abhängig.

Summary In order to evaluate the relevant factors for prognosis for patients with cancer of Vater's papilla our own patient material between 1. 1. 1978 and 31. 12. 1987 was studied retrospectively. The influence of age, sex, duration of anamnesis, tumor size, tumor morphology and tumor stage on the prognosis were analyzed in 32 patients with cancer of Vater's papilla. The 5 year survival rate after Whipple procedure was 56.1 %. Statistically significant factors for prognosis were tumor size, lymph node metastases and tumor stage.
