Notes:
Tumor suppressors act along diverse biochemical pathways to function as safeguards against cancer. This review summarizes how these pathways can be regulated, primarily by focusing on the well-characterized wild-type p53 tumor suppressor as a paradigm. Specifically, we discuss recent data linking p53 to the processes of signal transduction and angiogenesis. J. Cell. Biochem. Suppls. 30/31:43-49, 1998 © 1998 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
