Concerning the Structure of the Isomeric 1-Methyl-3,4- and -4,5-pyrazoledicarbaldehydesThe methylation of 3,4- or 4,5-pyrazoledicarbaldehyde leads to the formation of the isomeric 1-methyl-3,4- and -4,5-pyrazoledicarbaldehydes 2a or 2b. The structure of these isomers is proved by oxidation to the known o-dicarboxylic acids 6a or 6b. The physical data of the dicarboxylic acids 6a and 6b are compared to the data in the literature.

Durch Methylierung von 3,4- bzw. 4,5-Pyrazoldicarbaldehyd werden die isomeren 1-Methyl-3,4- bzw. -4,5-pyrazoldicarbaldehyde 2a bzw. 2b erhalten. Deren Struktur wird bewiesen durch Oxidation zu den aus der Literatur bekannten o-Dicarbonsäuren 6a bzw. 6b. Die physikalischen Daten von 6a und 6b werden im Vergleich zu den Literatur-Daten diskutiert.
