Chlorine/Fluorine and Hydrogen/Fluorine Exchange on SiliconFluorsilyl transition metal complexes of the formula Fx(CH3)3-xSi-MLn (x = 1, 2, 3; MLn=π-C5H5(CO)3Cr, π-C5H5(CO)3Mo, π-C5H5(CO)3W, π-C5H5(CO)2Fe) are obtained by the reaction of the corresponding chloro compounds with AgBF4. Hydrogen/fluorine exchange provides a more direct route, e. g. π-C5H5(CO)3M-Si(CH3)2H/AgBF4 (M = Cr, W), but sometimes only the products of additional Si-M cleavage are observed (π-C5H5-(CO)3M-Si(CH3)2H/AgF). By combination of both exchange processes the silyl complexes HCl2Si-MLn and HCH3ClSi-MLn can be converted into the fluorinated species F3Si-MLn and CH3F2Si-MLn, respectively. The stepwise exchange principally allows spectroscopic evidence of the primary product HF2Si-MLn or HCH3FSi-MLn, which could be isolated in one case. The new fluorine silicon metal compounds are characterized by means of spectroscopy and their chemical properties are described.
    Notes: Fluorsilyl-Übergangsmetallkomplexe des Typs Fx(CH3)3-xSi-MLn (x = 1, 2, 3; MLn=π-C5H5(CO)3Cr, π-C5H5 (CO)3Mo, π-C5H5(CO)3W, π-C5H5(CO)2Fe) werden durch Umsetzung der entsprechenden Chlorverbindungen mit AgBF4 erhalten. Wasserstoff/Fluor-Austauschreaktionen erweisen sich zwar als ein direkterer Zugang, z. B. π-C5H5(CO)3M-Si(CH3)2H/AgBF4 (M = Cr, W), liefern bisweilen jedoch nur Produkte weiterführender Si-M-Spaltungen (π-C5H5(CO)3M-Si(CH3)2H/AgF). Eine Kombination beider Austausch -prozesse ermöglicht die Überführung der Silylkomplexe HCl2Si-MLn und HCH3ClSi -MLn in die fluorierten Spezies F3Si-MLn und CH3F2Si-MLn. Der stufenweise Austausch gestattet grundsätzlich den spektroskopischen Nachweis des Primärprodukts HF2Si-MLn bzw. HCH3FSi-MLn, das in einem Fall isoliert werden konnte. Die neuen Fluorsilan-Metallverbindungen werden spektroskopisch charakterisiert und lhre chemischen Eigenschaften beschrieben.
