Phosphonium Hydrogendichlorides, II: Three Crystal Structures in ComparisonBy means of crystal structure analysis the compounds [(4-CH3OC6H4)(CH3)PCl2][ClHCl] (1), [(4-CH3OC6H4)PCl3][ClHCl] (2), and [(4-C2H5OC6H4)PCl3][ClHCl] (3) are confirmed as phosphonium hydrogendichlorides and the number of existing geometric parameters of hydrogen bonding between Cl atoms in crystals is substantially increased. The symmetric hydrogendichloride anions who the shortest distances Cl…Cl (312.1 pm in 2) and the largest distance of this kind (328.8 pm also in 2) is observed in the anion with the shortest Cl-H bond.
Notes:
