    Description / Table of Contents: 2,2-Dichloropropionyloxyalkyl esters of carboxymethyl cellulose with graduated contents of spacerbound herbicide functions and free carboxyl groups are prepared by the reaction of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (DS 0,48/0,90/2,45) with 2,2-dichloropropionyloxyalkanols. The retarded hydrolytic herbicide release is controlled primarily by DS-dependent hydrophilicity of the polymer and its change during hydrolysis and leads to the formation of characteristic release profiles.
    Notes: 2,2-Dichlor-propionyloxy-alkylester der Carboxymethylcellulose mit abgestuftem Gehalt an spacergebundenen Herbizidfunktionen und freien Carboxylgruppen werden durch Umsetzung von Natriumcarboxymethylcellulose (DS 0,48/0,90/2,45) mit 2,2-Dichlor-propionyloxy-alkanolen dargestellt. Die verzögerte hydrolytische Herbizidfreisetzung wird unter Ausbildung charakteristischer Freisetzungsprofile primär über die DS-abhängige Hydrophilie der Polymere und deren Änderung während der Hydrolyse kontrolliert.
