Summary The most important aim of the center is the development of an innovative structure for organizing clinical research in order to define quickly a large number of patients and include them in special studies that will be carried out with high clinical quality and competence. To this end, special competence networks in which clinical doctors of the university and private doctors will be organized to cooperate in the field of clinical studies.

Zusammenfassung Wesentliches Ziel des Zentrums ist die Entwicklung einer innovativen Organisationsstruktur für die klinische Forschung, mit deren Hilfe rasch große Patientenzahlen definiert und für spezielle Studien erfaßt werden können, die mit hoher klinischer Qualität und Kompetenz durchgeführt werden. Zu diesem Zweck haben wir fachbezogene Kompetenznetzwerke geschaffen, in denen Klinikärzte des Universitätsklinikums und niedergelassene Fachärzte bei der Durchführung von klinischen Studien kooperieren.
