Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
Summary A retrospective analysis of 355 femoro-popliteal vein bypass procedures demonstrated an effect on the immediate occlusion rate by the situation of the outflow tract, the localisation of the distal anastomosis and the clinical stage. The cumulative function curves (late results) showed an effect of the clinical condition in above knee bypass procedures and of the technique of the distal anastomosis in below knee operations (end-end better then end-side). Age, sex, year of operation, diabetes, local endarterectomy had no influence.
