Zusammenfassung Pathologische Anatomie, Pathophysiologie, Klinik, Prognose, Indikation zur operativen Behandlung, operativ technisches Vorgehen, Primär- und Spätergebnisse werden schematisch sowie an Hand von Operationsphotos, Angiogrammen und Schaubildern dargestellt. Die Ausstellung basiert auf den Erfahrungen von 172 Korrekturen und 64 palliativen Eingriffen an der Abteilung für Herz- und Gefäßchirurgie der Universität Kiel.

Summary Pathologic anatomy, pathophysiology, clinical signs, prognosis, indications for operative treatment, operative technique, and primary and late results are demonstrated schematically by means of diagrams, intraoperative pictures and angiograms. The exhibition is based on experience gained in 172 corrective and 64 palliative operations performed in the department of cardiovascular surgery at Kiel University between 1969 and 1975.
