Notes: Abstract The levels of151Eu have been investigated in the (n,n′γ) reaction using nuclear reactor fast neutrons. The energies, intensities and angular distributions of theγ-rays have been measured with the Ge(Li) spectrometer. Four rotational bands with the following band heads and Nilsson configurations have been identified: ground state band, 5/2+ [402]; 21.5 keV, 7/2+[404]; 196.5 keV, 3/2+[411]; 260.5 keV, 5/2+[413]. The low spin states at 332.2 and 336.2 keV have been tentatively assigned to the l/2+[411] Nilsson orbital, but 522.8, 580.0 and 587.0 keV states to the 1/2+[420] Nilsson orbital. The negative parity levels at 353.7, 522.1 and probably 546.2 keV have been proposed basing on theh 11/2 proton state.

Notes: Abstract In the doubly odd 63 150 Eu87 nucleus a 45 ns 8+ isomer at 589 keV excitation has been identified through (p, 3n) in beamγ ande − measurements. The low lying negative parity levels populated in its decay show great similarity to analogous states in the lighter odd-odd Eu neighbours suggesting a spherical shape for150Eu. A spherical shape is also proposed for the isomer which is assigned as (πh 11/2 vf 7 2/−3 )8+ state analogous to the 9+ isomers known in148Eu and146Eu. The spin change is attributed to the crossing of the half-filledf 7/2 neutron shell atN=86.

Notes: Abstract The transitional nucleus152Eu has been studied using the (n, e), (n, γ), (n res,γ), (n, γγ), (d, p), (d, t) and (p, d) reactions. The experiments have been performed at nine different laboratories. A model independent level scheme was established including 95 levels below 510 keV and nearly 900 transitions by combination of low energy transitions and reaction data. More than 20 additional levels result from gamma rays and/or charged particle reactions. The level scheme is interpreted in terms of the Nilsson model indicating that152Eu is a deformed nucleus. Seven rotational bands and Nilsson configurations are established. An additional 27 rotational bands are tentatively or speculatively assugned. Gallagher-Moszkowski splittings are discussed. The neutron binding energy was determined as 6305.2±0.5 keV. The energy of the 9.3 h 0− isomer is 45.599 keV. The lifetimes of four levels were measured. Notes: Abstract Singles gamma ray spectra of the41K(n, n′γ)41K reaction have been measured with fast reactor neutrons. The populated states and γ-ray intensities are compared with those of the40K(n, γ)41K reaction. About 91% of the observed gamma ray intensity was assigned to the decay of 35 states in41K. The energy and spin dependence of the gamma ray fluxes in both reactions are discussed.

Notes: Abstract A singlesγ-ray spectrum and a spectrum of summed amplitudes of coinciding pulses (SACP) were measured in the186W(n, γ)187W reaction experiment on the thermal neutron beam. It was for the first time that the data on187Wγ-transitions were obtained in the excitation energy region from 1500–2500 keV. The neutron binding energy was determined to beB n=5467.25 (4) keV (statistical error only). In result the level scheme of187W was developed in the excitation energy interval 1〈E f 〈 3.4 MeV, which contained 105 levels with about 70 of them being identified for the first time. The experimental values for summed intensities of two-step cascades were established to exceed those predicted by the modern statistical theory (by 36±6%). This is explained by a considerable contribution of few-quasiparticle components to wave functions of compound and intermediate states.
