    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Diskelektroden mit Direktkontaktierung der ionenselektiven Membran durch Pt-, Ag-oder Cu-Drähte zeigen eine Abhängigkeit des Potentials vom O2-Partialdruck. Das Ausmaß dieser Abhängigkeit sowie Potentialdriften werden von der Membrandicke und -konsistenz beeinflußt. Elektroden mit innerer Ag/AgCl/Metall-Ableitung sind nicht O2-abhängig. Zusätzlich zur O2-Unabhängigkeit zeichnen sich Elektroden mit Ag/AgCl/Pt-Ableitung durch hohe Potentialstabilität aus.
    Notes: Summary Diskelectrodes with direct contact of Pt, Ag or Cu wires to the ion-selective membrane show dependence of the potential on the partial pressure of oxygen. The extent of this dependence and drifts of the potential are affected by thickness and consistence of membranes. Electrodes with internal Ag/AgCl/metal lead are independent of oxygen. In addition, electrodes with Ag/AgCl/Pt lead are of remarkable stability of potential.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Na+-, K+-, NH 4 + - und Ca2+ selektive coated glass-Elektroden wurden entwickelt, bei denen eine ionenselektive Carrier-PVC-Membran auf eine ionenselektive Glasschicht aufgebracht wird, die über einen Innenelektrolyten mit der Ableitelektrode in Verbindung steht. Die Selektivität wird durch die aufgebrachte Carrier-PVC-Membran bestimmt, die zusätzlich Weichmacher zur Optimierung der Eigenschaften enthält.
    Notes: Summary Na+, K+, NH 4 + and Ca2+ selective electrodes have been developed by coating the ion-selective glass layer with a carrier PVC membrane. The glass is in contact with the conducting electrode through an inner electrolyte. The selectivity is determined by the PVC membrane, containing neutral carriers or electrically charged ligands and additionally plasticizers for optimizing the properties.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Für die Na+-, K+- und Ca2+ -Bestimmung mit ionenselektiven Diskelektroden im medizinischen Bereich empfiehlt sich die Zweipunkteichung. Die mit diesem Verfahren erzielbare Reproduzierbarkeit wird theoretisch aufgrund des Ablesefehlers am Meßinstrument berechnet und mit experimentellen Werten verglichen. Die theoretisch berechneten und experimentellen Standardabweichungen liegen für 1-wertige Ionen bei 0,3 % und für 2-wertige bei 0,6 %. Die Genauigkeit wird nicht durch die Elektroden, sondern die gegenwärtig verfügbaren Meßgeräte begrenzt.
    Notes: Summary In clinical analysis it is recommendable to use a two-point calibration for the determination of Na+, K+ and Ca2+ ions by ion-selective disc electrodes. The accuracy, which can be obtained by this calibration method, is treated theoretically, and the results are compared with experimental data. Theoretical and experimental standard deviations are in very good agreement, with 0.3 % for Na+ and K+ and 0.6 % for Ca2+. The precision is limited by the measuring instrument and not by the disc electrodes.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Es wird ein strömungsoptimiertes Multimeßsystem mit ionenselektiven Diskelektroden vorgestellt, bei dem aufgrund stromlinienförmiger Erhebungen im Kanalsystem gegenüber den Carrier-PVC-Membranen in Verbindung mit einem stau- und totzonenarmen Strömungsverlauf eine trägheitsarme und präzise ionenselektive Analytik gewährleistet wird. In das Meßsystem lassen sich auch andere Sensoren wie pH-, gassensitive und Enzym-Elektroden einführen.
    Notes: Summary The proposed system ensures low-inertia and precise measurements by means of ion-selective disc electrodes. This is achieved by streamlined elevations in the channel system opposite to the carrier PVC membranes, caring for a flow low in stagnation and dead zones. Other sensors may also be used in this system, as e.g. pH-, gas-sensitive and enzyme electrodes.
