    Notes: Zusammenfassung Die erste Analyse des Freiburger Zaesium-137-Einsatzes seit 1986 regt zu Überlegungen an, ob eine individuelle Strahlentherapie — wie wir sie seit Jahrzehnten beim fortgeschrittenen Zervixkarzinom fordern — mit Zaesium-137 effektiver als mit Iridium-192 als Radiumersatz erfolgen kann. Dies scheint mit dem Einsatz höherer Gesamtdosen Zaesium-137 und Teletherapie) möglich. Daher möchten wir den Einsatz der Zaesium-Kontakttherapie als Radiumersatz empfehlen, zumal Strahlenkomplikationen an Häufigkeit nicht zunahmen. Iridium-192 wird von einigen Strahlentherapeuten nur deshalb bevorzugt, da es auch bei anderen — palliativen — Bestrahlungsindikationen außerhalb der gynäkologischen Onkologie eingesetzt werden kann. Die Kontakttherapie beim Zervixkarzinom allerdings bleibt eine kurative Maßnahme. So müssen derartige Nützlichkeitsüberlegungen der Radiotherapeuten von den Gynäkologen kritisch und skeptisch betrachtet werden. Die Patientinnen der Frauenkliniken sollten auch in Zukunft möglichst individuell bestrahlt werden, dabei wird man mit dem Zaesium-137 der speziellen Tumor- und Patientinnensituationen am besten gerecht werden.

    Notes: Zusammenfassung Es wurden 42 Schwangere mit einer sonographisch gesicherten Wachstumsretardierung von wenigstens 2 Wochen und einer rheologisch nachgewiesenen Hämokonzentration, mit einer 10tägigen hypervolämische Hämodilution mit Hydroxyäthylstärke (HAES steril 10%, Fresenius) behandelt. Wenn vor Therapiebeginn ein pathologischer Dopplerflow gemessen wurde, konnte eine Strömungsverbesserung unter der Behandlung erreicht werden. Die pulsatile Dopplersonographie liefert wichtige zusätzliche Entscheidungskriterien, die eine abwartende Haltung unter engmaschiger Überwachung der Schwangerschaft ermöglichen. Die Strömungsverbesserung konnte anschaulich dargestellt werden. Eine Gefährdung des Feten bei normalen oder normalisierten dopplersonographischen Befunden ist weitgehend ausgeschlossen. In der geburtshilflichen Diagnostik der Wachstumsretardierung und Plazentainsuffizienz liefert die Dopplersonographie von Arteria umbilicalis, Aorta descendens und Arteria cerebri media wertvolle zusätzliche Hinweise über die fetale Gefährdungssituation. Bei dem Vorliegen eines pathologischen Flows kann der optimale Geburtszeitpunkt mittels einer hypervolämischer Hämodilutionstherapie über mehrere Wochen hinausgezögert werden.

    Notes: Abstract The efficiency of the nitrification inhibitors dicyandiamide (DCD) and 1-amidino-2-thiourea (or guanylthiourea = GTU) in reducing losses from N fertilizers was investigated in two greenhouse experiments where leaching of nitrate-N was induced by percolation at 3 and 5 weeks after fertilization. At an application rate of 10% by weight of fertilizer-N (e.g. 10 kg GTU/ha), GTU in combination with ammonium sulfate (AS) had effects similar to those of DCD (e.g. 15 kg DCD/ha) with regard to nitrate leaching, plant yields and nitrogen uptake. However, in combination with urea (U), GTU was more effective than DCD when applied at the same ratio except with a humic sandy clay soil (pH 7.3, 4.4% organic C), where GTU did not perform as effectively. Nitrate leaching was reduced by as much as 50% using U/GTU instead of U/DCD, and plant yield increased by 30%. At temperatures between 17 and 25°C, the combination U/GTU could protect a high percentage of the nitrogen from being nitrified and leached over a 3 to 5 weeks period. The superiority of GTU over DCD was demonstrated especially in the treatments with 5 weeks of preincubation, despite the considerably lower application rate.

    Notes: Abstract We have measured the reflectance of superconducting iron-doped YBaCuO ceramics in the frequency range from 20 to 10000 cm−1 for various temperatures above and belowT c . In these spectra we could directly observe an energy gap. A Kramers-Kronig analysis was performed. We discuss the temperature dependence of two infrared-active phonons and an absorption band located around 500 cm−1.

    Notes: Abstract This paper reports on far-infrared measurements of YBa2Cu3O7 films oriented with the c-axis perpendicular to the surface, by using a silicon reflection Fabry-Pérot interferometer as a multireflection device. From these we could derive the dielectric function, the refractive index, the field penetration depth and the surface impedance of the material. The one order of magnitude higher sensitivity of the method compared to a direct reflectance measurement allowed to find an almost continuous gap distribution in the 70–215 cm−1 region together with a separate gap at about 330 cm−1. A quasizero gap absorption is found down to 20 cm−1 even at low temperatures (10 K).

    Notes: The previously published kinetical structural model is applied to the network build-up during the coreaction of 2,2-bis(4-cyanatophenyl) propane with 2,2-bis(4-glycidyloxyphenyl) propane in bulk. The relative rate constants of the main reactions, which act as the free parameters of the model, were identified for this case, and the good agreement between theory and experiment is shown.

Bei Einsatz dieser Harze resultieren Verbunde mit hoher Thermostabilität, Medienbeständigkeit und sehr guten elektrischen Isolationseigenschaften. Anwendungsgebiete der Harze sind insbesondere die Kleb-, Gieß- und Laminiertechnik.
    Notes: Pure and modified polycyanurates are known for about 20 years. Up to now an important number of different special products was developed. Composites which base on polycyanurate resins show a high thermostability, stability against humidity and chemicals, and excellent electrical insulating properties. The resins are used as adhesives, binders for laminates, casting resins, and for other applications.
