Conclusions 1. Triferrocenylchloromethane hydrochloride reacts with diazomethane to give triferrocenylethylene. 2. Triferrocenylethylene was reduced to 1,1,2 -triferrocenylethane and oxidized with potassium permanganate in alkaline medium. 3. Diferrocenyl (phenyl) chloromethane hydrochloride reacts with diazomethane to give a mixture of 1,2-diferrocenyl-1-phenylethylene and 1,1-diferrocenyl-2-phenylethylene.
