Zusammenfassung Es wird eine seltene komplexe Mißbildung eingehend beschrieben mit asymmetrischen Veränderungen im frontonasalen Bereich, einer beidseitig durchgehenden Lippen-Kiefer-Gaumen-Spalte Fehlbildungen des rechten Auges, des Unterkiefers, der Zunge, der äußeren Ohren, der hinteren Schädelgrube und des Kleinhirns sowie einer Dextroposition des Herzens und einer überzähligen Rippe beiderseits. Die Problematik der kausalen und formalen Genese derartiger Mißbildungen wird besprochen und gezeigt, daß eine Zuordnung zu einem der in Frage kommenden Syndrome eigentlich nicht möglich ist.

Abstract A rare complex malformation is described consisting of asymmetrical changes in the fronto-nasal region, bilateral complete cleft lip, alveolar ridge, and palate, malformation of the right eye, the mandible, the tongue, the external ears, the posterior cerebral fossa and the cerebellum, as well as cardiac dextroposition and a supernumary rib on both sides. Problems of aetiology and structural genesis are discussed. It is shown that classification into one of the existing syndromes is not really possible.
