    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Nach einem Überblick neuerer Arbeiten wird die Analogie der Dithiolen-Metallkomplexe und verwandter Verbindungen zu substituierten Äthylensystemen bezüglich des Redoxverhaltens (Einelektronenübergänge, Bildung von Radikalanionen) aufgezeigt. Auf die Bedeutung dieser Betrachtungsweise für zahlreiche Reagentien der analytischen. Chemie wird hingewiesen. Schließlich erfolgt die Beschreibung neuer Anionenkomplexe mit Toluol-3,4-dithiol als Ligand und einem Hauptgruppenelement (Sn, As, Sb, Bi) als Zentralatom.
    Notes: Abstract A review of the newest publications is given. Metal-dithiolene complexes and related compounds react analogously to substituted ethylene systems with regard to the redox behaviour (one-electron-transition, formation of radical anions). This way of thinking is important for various reagents used in analytical chemistry. New anion complexes with toluene-3,4-dithiole as ligand and Sn, As, Sb or Bi as central ion are described.

Die Konstitution der erhaltenen Komplexverbindungen wird an Hand magnetischer, spektroskopischer sowie thermogravimetrischer und konduktometrischer Untersuchungen diskutiert. 6-Methyl-2-thiocarbomethylamid reagient mit Kupfer(II) unter Bildung von Kupfer(I)-Komplexen.
    Notes: Abstract Copper, nickel and iron chelates of pyridine-2.6-di-thiocarbomethylamide were prepared. The discussion about the constitution of the obtained complex compounds is based on magnetic, spectroscopic, thermogravimetric and conductometric studies. 6-Methyl-2-thiocarbomethylamide reacts with copper(II) to give a copper(I) chelate.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract The behaviour of various metal-dithiolene complexes is studied. The photometric determination, a sensitive qualitative identification in three modes of execution, the extraction behaviour of antimony and aTLC-separation of Sb−Sn−Bi−Pb with 2-toluene-3,4-dithiol are described. Attempts to clarify the antimony-dithiol compounds have yielded two formulas. Further analytical applications of these compounds are discussed.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Das Verhalten verschiedener Komplexe von Metallen mit Dithiol-enen wird behandelt. Die photometrische Bestimmung, ein empfindlicher qualitativer Nachweis in drei Ausführungsformen und das Extraktionsverhalten von Antimon sowie eineDC-Trennung Sb−Sn−Bi−Pb mit Toluol-3,4-dithiol werden beschrieben. Versuche, die Struktur der Antimondithiolate aufzuklären, führen zu 2 Formeln. Die weitere analytische Verwendbarkeit dieser Verbindungsklasse wird diskutiert.

    Notes: Zusammenfassung Hydroxamsäuren waren als analytische Reagentien bisher unbekannt. Mit dem ersten Glied der Reihe, Oxaldihydroxamsäure, läßt sich durch mikroskopische Betrachtung der Kristallbilder ein qualitativer Trennungsgang der Erdalkalien aufstellen. Malondihydroxamsäure erweist sich als ausgezeichnetes Bestimmungsmittel für Quecksilber(II). Die Kupferhydroxamkomplexe werden untersucht.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary A sensitive photometric method is given for determining boron with Nile blue A. The complex formation of the [BF4]− is complete in a short time when the method given here is followed. The Nile blue fluoroborate produced by the addition of the dyestuff may be extracted with chlorobenzene or o-dichlorobenzene. Amounts of boron from 0.002 to 2μg B/ml may be determined. A description is given of the decomposition of the sample and the determination of boron in various materials.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Eine empfindliche photometrische Bestimmung von Bor mit Nilblau A wurde beschrieben. Die Komplexausbildung des [BF4]− ist nach der angegebenen Methode in kurzer Zeit vollständig. Das durch Zusatz von Farbstoff gebildete Nilblaufluoroborat ist mit Chlorbenzol oder mit o-Dichlorbenzol extrahierbar. Bormengen von 0,002 bis 2,0μg B/ml sind bestimmbar. Aufschluß und Bestimmung in verschiedenem Material wurden beschrieben.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary A description is given of the spectrophotometric determination of iron and copper with pyridine-2,6-diacetoxime in alkaline medium. The reduction of iron(III) can be made satisfactorily only with hydroxylamine. The relation of the chelate formation to time and pH was studied.
    Abstract: Résumé On décrit le dosage spectrophotométrique du fer et du cuivre par la diacétoxime-2,6 pyridine en milieu alcalin. La réduction du fer-III ne peut s'effectuer que par l'hydroxylamine. On étudie l'influence du temps et du pH sur la formation du chélate.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Die spektralphotometrische Bestimmung von Eisen und Kupfer mit Pyridin-2,6-diacetoxim in alkalischem Medium wird beschrieben. Die Reduktion von Eisen(III) kann nur mit Hydroxylamin erfolgen. Zeit- und pH-Abhängigkeit der Chelatbildung beider Metalle werden untersucht.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary Vanadium is extracted quantitatively from sulfuric acid solution with 4-methyl-2-pentanol. This finding provides separation possibilities from the metals iron, cobalt, nickel, manganese, molybdenum, and titanium. The composition of the extracted compound is discussed and the number of the coordinatively bound solvent molecules was determined.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Vanadin wird aus schwefelsaurer Lösung mit 4-Methyl-2-pentanol quantitativ extrahiert. Damit bestehen Trennungsmöglichkeiten von den Metallen Eisen, Kobalt, Nickel, Mangan, Molybdän und Titan. Die Zusammensetzung der extrahierten Verbindung wurde diskutiert und die Zahl der koordinativ gebundenen Solvensmoleküle bestimmt.
