    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung In den Jahren 1975–1979 wurden bei Amputationsverletzungen und offenen Frakturen dritten Grades mit Defekten von Knochen, Sehnen, Nerven und Haut die Vorteile einer primären Verkürzungsosteotomie des Knochens zwischen 4 und 7 cm genutzt. Das funktionelle Spätergebnis hängt ab von der erreichten Nerven- und Sehnenfunktion, während der Längenverlust an der oberen Extremität nur eine geringe Rolle spielt.
    Notes: Summary With amputation injuries and open fractures showing defects of bone, tendons, nerves, and skin on the upper and lower arm, a primary shortening of the bone of between 4 and 7 cm was used in 11 cases during the years 1975–1979. The functional late result depends on the achieved function of nerves and tendons; loss of length in the upper extremity plays only a minor part.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Bei der Nachuntersuchung von 487 Stomaträgern wurde versucht, zu einer kritischen Wertung der Versorgungsmöglichkeiten der Colostomie zu kommen. Beurteilt wurden: normale Beutelversorgung, Magnetverschluß, autologe Muskelplastik, Irrigation. Die Forderungen waren: 1. problemlose Reintegration des Patienten, also keine Verschmutzung, Geruchsbelästigung oder akustische Belästigung. 2. unkomplizierte Versorgung, also einfache Handhabung, keine Hautkomplikationen, chirurgische Komplikationen oder funktionelle Komplikationen. Nach diesen Kriterien beurteilt war die Versorgung mit Colostomiebeuteln ausreichend, der Magnetverschluß weniger empfehlenswert, die autologe Muskelplastik gut, die Irrigation sehr gut.
    Notes: Summary A total of 487 patients were re-evaluated 1 – 5 years after a colostomy operation. The following criteria were chosen: (1) normal maintenance system, (2) magnetic stoma, (3) autologous myoplasty, and (4) irrigation. The surgical procedure aimed at: (1) social and psychological integration and (2) simplified management without surgical and functional complications. Altogether, the colostomy carried out with normal maintenance system was sufficient, the magnetic stoma is not recommended, and the autologous myoplasty is functioning well; irrigation, however, has proved to be best.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary The results of autoradiographic determination of DNA-synthesizing lymphocytes (3H-thymidine) in 10 patients with bacterial infections were compared with results in 10 normal patients and contrasted with 23 CLL patients in different stages [12]. In patients with infectious diseases the absolute number of T cells was lower and the mean values of S-phase T cells and S-phase non-T cells was higher than in normal persons. In contrast to the patients with infections, CLL patients in stage 0–III have lower S-phase T cell values and higher S-phase non-T cell values. In stage IV, on the other hand, all DNA-synthesizing lymphocytes are increased.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Es werden die Ergebnisse der autoradiographischen Bestimmung DNA-synthetisierender Lymphozyten (3H-Thymidin) bei 10 Patienten mit bakteriellen Infekten mit den Ergebnissen bei 10 gesunden Personen verglichen und den Resultaten bei 23 CLL-Patienten in verschiedenen Krankheitsstadien gegenübergestellt. Bei Patienten mit Infektionen lagen die Mittelwerte der T-Zellen niedriger, die der T-Zellen und Nicht-T-Zellen in der S-Phase höher als bei Normalen. Gegenüber Infektpatienten zeigen die CLL-Patienten früher Krankheitsstadien niedrigere S-Phase-T-Zellwerte und höhere S-Phase-Nicht-T-Zellwerte; im fortgeschrittenen Stadium sind alle DNA-synthetisierenden Lymphozyten vermehrt.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Vom 1. 1. 1970 bis 31. 12. 1981 wurden am Klinikum rechts der Isar 711 Patienten wegen eines Magencarcinoms behandelt. 62,5 % wurden reseziert subtotal und total in gleicher Häufigkeit: Die FünfJahres-Überlebensrate insgesamt betrug 19 %, bei den kurativ resezierten 35 %, bei den palliativ resezierten nur 3 %. Die Fünf-Jahres-überlebensrate beim Intestinalen Typ nach Lauren war mit 26 % deutlich besser als die des diffusen Typs mit 11 %. Ohne Lymphknotenbefall war die Fünf-Jahres-überlebensrate 44 %, im Stadium N1-3 nur noch 11 %. Von sämtlichen gastrektomierten Patienten lebten nach 5 Jahren noch 27 %, von den subtotal resezierten 33 %.
    Notes: Summary From January 1, 1979 to December 31, 1981, 711 patients were treated at Klinikum rechts der Isar for gastric carcinoma: 62.5 % were resected, of which the number of subtotal and total resections was almost the same. The total 5-year survival rate was 19 %, curative resections ended up at 35 % at 5 years, and palliative resection declined to 3 %. The 5-year survival rate increased significantly (29 %) when the diagnosis was the intestinal type according to Lauren, in contrast to the diffuse types (11 %). When all gastroectomized patients were taken together, 27 % reached the 5-year survival border and 33 % for the subtotal resection procedure.

    Notes: Abstract γγ-directional correlations have been measured between the ground state band transitions 6→4, 4→2 and 2→0 and the γ-rays depopulating the levels of the gamma vibrational band and the negative parity states of166Er. Thereby angular momenta could be assigned to the latter states andM2/E1 multipole mixtures determined for the depopulating γ-transitions. TheE2/M1 mixing ratios were obtained for a series ofI γ→I g transitions up toI γ=8+. These are used to investigate the angular momentum dependence of theE2/M1 admixtures.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Bei 10 Patienten im Stadium des abgelaufenen Schlaganfalls mit Carotis interna-Verschluß und TEA der Gegenseite wurde die A. Carotis externa-Stenose der Verschlußseite durch Erweiterungsplastik beseitigt. Es traten keine intra- and postoperativen Komplikationen auf. Subjektiv gaben 7 Patienten eine Besserung des Gedächtnis and Leistungsvermögens an. Objektiv war bei allen eine Erhöhung der Hirndurchblutung der betroffenen Hemisphere im Durchschnitt um 27,6 % mittels Xenonclearance meßbar.
    Notes: Summary In ten patients who had had a stroke with occlusion of the internal carotid artery and TEA on the contralateral side, stenosis of the external carotid artery was treated by patch graft. There were no intra- or postoperative complications. In the subjective evaluation of seven patients, there was improvement in memory and ability. Objectively, we found on average a 27.6 % increased cerebral blood flow in the hemisphere treated in all patients as measured by Xenon clearance.
