Notes: Es wird eine Methode zur Bestimmung des Verteilungskoeffizienten in geringer Konzentration vorliegender radioaktiv markierter Verbindungen beschrieben. Es wurde der Einfluß des Kations des Aussalzmittels auf den Verteilungskoeffizienten des Thoriumnitrats bei der Extraktion mit Diäthyläther und Methylisobutylketon und auf den Verteilungskoeffizienten des Kobaltchlorids bei der Extraktion durch i-Amylalkohol untersucht.

Notes: Es wird über die Beeinflussung der kapillaraktiven und waschtechnischen Eigenschaften von Tetradekanmonosulfonaten durch Tetradekandisulfonate berichtet. Diese Verbindungen wurden über die Sulfochlorierung von n-Tetradekan hergestellt. In die Untersuchungen wurde ein definiertes Monosulfonat, das Tetradekanmonosulfonat-(1) und ein definiertes Disulfonat, das Tetradekandisulfonat-(1,10) mit einbezogen.Die erwartete Verschlechterung der kapillaraktiven und waschtechnischen Eigenschaften der gut wirkenden Monosulfonate durch die wenig aktiven Disulfonate konnte im allgemeinen beobachtet werden, wenn auch nicht in dem erwarteten Ausmaß.

Notes: Zur Erklärung der Bildung von Salzlagerstätten ozeanischen Ursprungs wurde von Geologen und Physikochemikern der Gedanke des Auskristallisierens aus den in Frage kommenden, heterogen zusammengesetzten Mineralsalzlösungen unter dem Einfluß eines Temperaturgefälles herangezogen. Es wird gezeigt, daß auch andere Mehrkomponenten-Lösungen beim Eindampfen im Temperaturgefälle unterschiedliche Bodenkörper gegenüber der isothermen Eindampfung zeigen. Es wurde das System NaCl—KCl—NaNO3—KNO3—H2O beim Eindampfen im Temperaturgefälle untersucht. Salze, die sich im Bereich niedriger Temperaturen ausscheiden, werden nach Literaturangaben als kryophil und Salze, die sich im Bereich höherer Temperaturen ausscheiden, als thermophil bezeichnet. Die Chloride und Nitrate des Natriums und des Kaliums sind kryophil. In den Zweisalzsystemen läßt sich eine zeitlich gleichzeitige, aber räumlich getrennte Auskristallisation feststellen. Die getrennte Auskristallisation von NaCl und KNO3 aus im Temperaturgefälle eingedampften Lösungen kann zur Herstellung von Konversionssalpeter ausgenutzt werden. Es wird gegenüber dem isothermen Eindampfen ein Arbeitsgang erspart.

Notes: Mit dieser Arbeit ist es gelungen, das 4-Aminopyridin zum 3-Chlormercuri-4-aminopyridin und zum 3,5-Dichlormercuri-4-aminopyridin zu mercurieren. Vom 3-Chlormercuri-4-aminopyridin ist das Hydrochlorid dargestellt worden. Die Stellung des Quecksilbers wurde durch Umsetzung der beiden Quecksilberverbindungen mit Brom zum 3-Brom-4-aminopyridin und zum 3,5-Dibrom-4-aminopyridin bewiesen. Die analogen Umsetzungen mit Jod führten zu dem 3,5-Dijod-4-aminopyridin und zu dem 3-Jod-4-aminopyridin. Letzteres stimmt mit einem in der Literatur erwähnten Produkt derselben Bezeichnung nicht überein. Das 3-Jod-4-aminopyridin wurde charakterisiert durch das 1-Methyl-3-jod-4-aminopyridiniumjodid, sein Umsetzungsprodukt mit Methyljodid, und durch das Benzol-N-[3-jodpyridyl-(4)]-sulfamid, sein Reaktionsprodukt mit Benzolsulfochlorid. Das 3,5-Dijod-4-aminopyridin wurde ebenfalls durch sein Jodmethylat, das 1-Methyl-3,5-dijod-4-aminopyridiniumjodid, und durch sein Pikrat charakterisiert. Durch Umsetzung des 3-Chlormercuri-4-aminopyridins mit Kaliumrhodanid konnte das 3-Rhodanmercuri-4-aminopyridin, durch Reaktion mit alkalischer Stannitlösung das Di-[4-amino-pyridyl-(3)]-quecksilber und durch Einwirkung von Kaliumcyanat in saurer Umgebung der 3-Chlormercuripyridyl-(4)-harnstoff synthetisiert werden.

Notes: Die Na-Salze von Aminosäuren wurden mit Trimethylchlorsilan umgesetzt. Dabei entstanden in recht guten Ausbeuten N-Trimethylsilyl-aminosäure-trimethylsilylester. Durch Hydrolyse spalten diese Verbindungen in Aminosäuren und Hexamethyldisiloxan auf. Die Solvolyse mit Alkoholen ergibt ebenfalls die freien Aminosäuren und Alkoxysilane.

Notes: One of the ceramic clays known as RAJMAHAL clay was rendered into the H-clay by leaching with 0.02 N HCl and washing it free from excess of the acid. The H-clay was sieved through 120 mesh, and the clay suspension was shaken in a mechanical shaker for different intervals of time. It was observed that the pH of the clay suspension took 8 hours to reach a constant pH value.The suspension was then titrated against 0.01 N NaOH solution both by conductometry and potentiometry. The points of equivalence obtained by both of these techniques were strikingly identical. There were three loops (two prominent and one suppressed) and three points of intersection in the potentiometric and conductometric curves respectively. These results have been discussed in the aspect of clay mineralogy.

Notes: Auf Grund thermodynamischer Berechnungen wird gezeigt, daß die im schwach sauren Bereich freiwillig verlaufende Zementationsreaktion von Kupfer mit Nickel auch im ammoniakalischen Gebiet trotz Vorliegens von Komplexen möglich ist. Es werden 2 Arbeitsvorschriften zur Gewinnung von in ammoniakalischem Milieu aktiven Nickelpulvern mitgeteilt. (Stadtgasreduktion von technischem NiCO3 und Wasserstoffdruck-reduktion von ammoniakalischen Nickellösungen im Autoklaven.) Die Kapazität solcher aktiver Nickelpulver liegt bei etwa 94%.Schließlich wird eine Apparatur beschrieben, die gestattet, das übliche chargenweise Zementationsverfahren in Bottichen durch ein kontinuierliches Durchflußverfahren zu ersetzen. Es gelingt, eine mit Kupfer verunreinigte ammoniakalische Nickellauge bis auf einen Restgehalt von 10-5 M Cu bzw. 0,7 mg Cu/l zu entkupfern.

Notes: Der Einfluß der Struktur verschiedenartiger Kieselgele auf die chromatographische Trennung typischer flüssiger Kohlenwasserstofftestgemische wird beschrieben und die Wirkung von Oberfläche, Porengröße und Korngröße auf den Trenneffekt diskutiert. Eine vollständige Auftrennung läßt sich bei den gewählten Testgemischen mit Kieselgelen mittleren Porendurchmessers (50-60 Å) erzielen. Im Gegensatz dazu ist die Trennwirksamkeit eng- und weitporiger Kieselgele deutlich abgeschwächt.

Notes: Es werden die wichtigsten Synthesen verzweigtkettiger Alkane hinsichtlich Ausbeute und Reinheit der Endprodukte diskutiert. Am geeignetsten wurde für die Synthese der 4n-propyl- und 2-Methyl-3-isopropyl-Alkane die GRIGNARD-Reaktion gefunden.Von den dargestellten verzweigtkettigen Alkanen wurden Dichte, Brechungsindex, Oberflächenspannung, Kochpunkt, % C und % H bestimmt, Molvolumen, Molrefraktion und Parachor berechnet. Weiterhin wurden IR-Spektrogramme aufgenommen und die Fähigkeit der Adduktbildung mit Harnstoff untersucht.

Die Dreisalzpunkte sind Umwandlungspunkte. Ein Eutektikum tritt nicht auf. Die Verhältnisse wurden u. a. als dreidimensionales Modell sowie als Projektionen auf die binären Konzentrationsebenen dargestellt. Aus diesen ist das Verhalten entsprechender Gemische beim Abkühlen bzw. Eindampfen zu entnehmen.

Notes: Es werden unsymmetrische, heterocyclisch-aromatische Disulfide durch Reaktion von aromatischen Sulfenylchloriden mit heterocyclischen Mercaptanen, Mercaptiden und Mercaptomagnesiumhalogeniden synthetisiert. Pyridyl-2-, Pyridyl-4-, 6-Methylpyridyl-2- und Thienyl-2-aryldisulfide werden beschrieben. Zur Festlegung der Konstitution von Pyridyl-2-aryldisulfiden werden die Ultrarotspektren von Pyridinthion-(2) und Pyridyl-2-phenyldisulfid miteinander verglichen. An den dargestellten Disulfiden werden Radikaldissoziation und Thermochromie beobachtet.

Notes: Es wird gezeigt, daß reines Trimethylthionophosphat im Gegensatz zu älteren Literaturangaben thermisch außerordentlich stabil ist. Erst nach langstündigem Erhitzen auf 130° findet eine allmählich verlaufende Isomerisierung statt. Nach vollständigem Thionoschwefel-Umsatz ist aber unter diesen Bedingungen kein Thiolester mehr nachweisbar, weil dieser relativ schnell Folgereaktionen zu leicht hydrolysierbaren kondensierten Phosphaten und weiter zu Trimethylsulfoniumsalzen eingeht. In diese Folgereaktionen wird schließlich auch das restliche Thionophosphat mit einbezogen, so daß am Schluß einer thermischen Behandlung der Thionoschwefel-Umsatz sich zunehmend beschleunigt.

Notes: Durch Einwirkung von p-Nitroso-dimethyl- oder -diäthyl-anilin und Natriumcyanid auf die Phthalimidoacalkyl-pyridiniumbromide entstehen die entsprechenden α-(p-Dimethyl- bzw. -Diäthyl-aminophenylimino)-β-keto-phthalimido-alkancarbonsäurenitrile. Durch Spaltung dieser Nitrile mit verdünnter Chlorwasserstoffsäure gelangt man glatt zu den α-Keto-phthalimido-alkancarbonsäuren.

Notes: The stepwise reaction between titanium alkoxides and benzoic acid has been investigated in detail. It has been shown that replacement of first two alkoxy groups of titanium alkoxide (Ti(OR)4; OR=OPri, or OEt) proceeds smoothly and the corresponding mono and di-benzoate derivatives, (C6H5COO)Ti(OR)3 and (C6H5COO)2Ti(OR)2, are formed quantitatively. The substitution of third alkoxy group proceeds slowly and the tri-benzoate derivative, (C6H5COO)3Ti(OR), is less stable decomposing into titanyl benzoate, (C6H5COO)2Ti=O, and corresponding ester, C6H5COOR. The course of reaction appears to be unaffected even in presence of excess benzoic acid (more than 4 moles). The reactions have been carried out in benzene medium and have been followed by estimating the alcohol removed in the azeotrope, analysis of products of reaction and isolation of esters produced as a result of decomposition of the tri-benzoate derivatives.

Notes: Die Abtrennung ungesättigter Verbindungen aus Rohparaffinen und änlichen Braunkohlenteerfolgeprodukten wird industriell vorzugsweise mit Schwefelsäure durchgeführt. Die Olefine setzen sich dabei mit der Schwefelsäure zu Säureharzen um und gehen verloren.Es wurden deshalb Untersuchungen durchgeführt, um die langkettigen Olefine von den Praffinen abzutrennen. Neben der Harnstoffaddition wurde die Addition an Hg II-Salze und die Adsorptionschromatographie angewandt.

Notes: Es wird die Darstellung symmetrischer 1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine aus aliphatischen Aldehyden und cycloaliphatischen Ketonen durch gleichzeitige Einwirkung von H2S und wäßrigem Hydrazinhydrat mitgeteilt. Die in 2- und 5-Stellung monosubstituierten 1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine lassen sich mit elementarem Schwefel bei höheren Temperaturen in Gegenwart von Piperidin zu Thiadiazolen dehydrieren. Beim Erhitzen mit Piperidin allein werden unter H2S-Abspaltung Aldazine oder Ketazine gebildet. Durch saure Hydrolyse werden die 1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine gespalten in H2S, Hydrazin und Carbonylverbindungen, gegenüber wäßrigem Alkali hingegen erweisen sie sich als bemerkenswert beständig.

Notes: Die vier isomeren Azido-n-heptane wurden durch Umsetzung der entsprechenden Chlorheptane mit Natriumazid hergestellt. Die Zersetzung der Azidoheptane in Eisessig in Gegenwart der äquimolaren Menge Perchlorsäure verlief nach der II. Odnung; die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit war sowohl der Azid- wie der Perchlorsäurekonzentration proportional. Die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeiten und die Aktivierungsenergien der einzelnen Isomeren unterschieden sich nicht wesentlich. Als Hauptreaktionsprodukte der Azidzersetzung entstanden die entsprechenden isomeren Imine mit unverändertem Kohlenstoffgerüst, deren Verseifungsprodukte, die Heptanone bzw. das Heptanal, durch Derivate charakterisiert wurden. Nebenher erfolgte zu 10-30% eine Umlagerung der stickstoffhaltigen Reaktionszwischenprodukte zu Schiffschen Basen. Diese wurden verseift und die in ihnen enthaltenen Amine papierchromatographisch getrennt und charakterisiert.

Notes: Zur Darstellung von Cysteamin-35S und Cystamin-35S wurde eine markierte Synthese im 10-mMol-Maßstab ausgearbeitet, die bei einem Überschuß des nicht markierten Reaktionspartners, Äthylenimin, eine weitgehende Umsetzung des isotopen Ausgangs materials gewährleistet. Besonders deutlich wird die Wirkung dieser bei markierten Synthesen gern gebrauchten Arbeitsweise bei der sofortigen Oxydation des sehr unbeständigen Cysteamins Cysteamins-35S zum Cystamin-35S, wobei fast quantitative Ausbeuten erhalten werden.

Notes: Die chemischen Darstellungsverfahren für die Epimeren Mannose/Glucose mit 14C im 1-Kohlenstoffatom, die aus den inaktiven Aldosesynthesen nach der Cyanhydrin- und nach der Nitromethanmethode entwickelt worden sind, wurden nachgearbeitet und auf ihre Ausbeuten überprüft, wobei die in der Literatur angegebenen Ionenaustauscher Amberlite IR 100 und Duolite A-4 durch die Wofatite KPS 200 und SBS 400 ersetzt wurden. Nach der Cyanhydrinmethode wurden in allen Stufen die Literaturausbeuten erreicht, während bei der Anwendung der Nitromethanmethode in einigen Synthesestufen die Ausbeuten erhöht werden konnten.

Description / Table of Contents: Es wurde die spezifische Leitfähigkeit des ternären Systems Wasser/0,2 normale Natriumsalze von Fettsäuren und Alkoholen in Gegenwart von freier Säure oder Alkali gemessen. Dabei wurde gefunden, daß die spezifische Leitfähigkeit mit steigender Kettenlänge des Alkohols fällt. Sie steigt mit steigender Alkalikonzentration.

Notes: For the systems: „Water - 0.2N sodium salts of fatty acids and alcohols (3-methyl butanol-1 or hexanol-1) in presence of free acids and sodium hydroxide“ the specific conductivity decreases with the increase in the chain length of the soap as well as of the alcohol. The specific conductivity of the solutions increases with the increase in sodium hydroxide concentration. In the plot of specific conductivity and sodium hydroxide concentration, the curvature is more marked in the case of lower soaps than the higher soaps.

Notes: Eine wäßrige Lösung von ε-aminocapronsaurem Natrium reagiert mit Phosgen unter Bildung der Carbamido-ε-dicapronsäure, die beim Erhitzen unter Abspaltung von einem Mol CO2 und einem Mol H2O zu einem linearen Polyamid kondensiert (DBP 888847). Versuche, Carbamido-α-dicarbonsäuren durch Umsetzungen der Natriumsalze verschiedener α-Aminosäuren mit Phosgen herzustellen, verliefen negativ. Beim Erhitzen der auf anderen Wegen erhaltenen Carbamido-dicarbonsäuren des D, L-Alanins, D,L-Phenylalanins und D,L-Norleucins wurde ebenfalls CO2 und H2O abgespalten, jedoch nicht in einem Verhältnis, das auf die Bildung von linearen oder cyclischen Polyaminosäuren schließen läßt. - Die Kondensation der Carbamido-ε-dicarbonsäure zum linearen Polyamid verläuft sehr wahrscheinlich über das ε-Caprolactam. Eine geringe Menge dieser Verbindung konnte isoliert werden. Carbamido-δ-divaleriansäure, die nach dem Patentverfahren in glatter Reaktion entsteht, geht beim Erhitzen größtenteils in δ-Valerolactam über.

Notes: Es wird eine neue Methode zur Peptidcyclisierung mit Hilfe von Peptidchlorid-hydrochloriden als energiereichen Derivaten nach dem Zieglerschen Verdünnungsprinzip beschrieben. Nach Ausarbeitung günstiger Ringschlußbedingungen konnten Cyclohexaglycyl in 11proz. und Cyclo-di-ε-aminocaproyl in 37proz. Ausbeute erhalten werden. Die Darstellung analysenreiner Peptidchlorid-hydrochloride wird eingehend behandelt. Für die Gewinnung höherer Glycinpeptide erwies sich der Weg über die Carbobenzoxyderivate mit nachfolgender Abspaltung der Schutzgruppe mit HBr/Eisessig vorteilhafter als die Aminierung der Chloracetylpeptide.

Notes: Es wird gezeigt, daß o- und Novovanillin Kondensationen mit Formaldehyd und einer Reihe von sekundären aliphatischen und heterocyclischen Basen nach Mannich eingehen. Durch die phenolische Hydroxylgruppe wird das para-ständige Wasserstoffatom hinreichend aktiviert, so daß eine Aminomethylgruppe in 5-Stellung eingeführt werden kann. Dieser Einfluß geht verloren, wenn die OH-Gruppe alkyliert wird. Drei verschiedene Kondensationsmethoden wurden angewandt, je nach der Reaktionsfähigkeit der jeweiligen Amine oder deren Hydrochloride.

Notes: D,L-Phenylalanin reagiert mit einem Überschuß von N,N′-Carbonyl-di-imidazol in abs. Tetrahydrofuran unter Auflösen der Aminosäure. Nach Abtrennung des bei der Reaktion freigewordenen Imidazols konnte jedoch kein D,L-Phenylalanin-N-carbonsäureanhydrid gefunden werden. Aus dem Rohprodukt wurde das N,N′-Carbonyl-bis-D,L-phenylalanin isoliert und durch Überführung in den Dimethylester und die 5-Benzylhydantoin-3β-phenylpropionsäure, sowie durch Hydrolyse zum D,L-Phenylalanin identifiziert. Es wird angenommen, daß die Reaktion nicht über das N-Carbonsäureanhydrid verläuft, da dieses bei Gegenwart von Imidazol sofort zu Poly-D,L-phenylalanin kondensiert.

Description / Table of Contents: Beim Studium der stufenweisen Reaktion zwischen Titantetrachlorid und Benzoesäure wurde festgestellt, daß die Bildung von Benzoyltitantrichlorid oder Dibenzoyltitandichlorid schnell erfolgt. Titanylbenzoat wird bei der Reaktion zwischen Titantetrachlorid und Benzoesäure in Benzol in Gegenwart von wasserfreiem Ammoniak gebildet. Die Ergebnisse deuten auf ähnliche Reaktionen zwischen Titantetrachlorid und Benzoesäure bzw. Essigsäure hin.

Notes: The stepwise reaction between titanium tetra-chloride and benzoic acid has been investigated in detail. The formation of C6H5COOTiCl3 and (C6H5COO)2TiCl2 is direct and rapid. Further replacement of chlorine by benzoate radical makes the resulting molecule unstable and no tetra-benzoate is formed. A plausible mechanism has been suggested for the decomposition of mono-chloride derivative under different conditions. Titanyl benzoate has been obtained by treating a mixture of titanium tetra-chloride and excess benzoic acid in benzene with anhydrous ammonia. The results indicate that the reactions of titanium tetra-chloride with benzoic acid are similar to those with acetic acid, this finding is in sharp contrast to the different behaviour of titanium tetra-chloride towards alcohols and phenols.

Notes: In früheren Untersuchungen wurde die Abhängigkeit des Polymerisationsgrades der Polyäthylenimine von der Katalysatorkonzentration und der Polymerisationstemperatur bestimmt und gefunden, daß er bei jeweiliger Temperatur mit steigender Anfangskonzentration des Äthylenimin zu- und Säurekonzentration als Katalysator abnimmt. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde der Einfluß der Säurekonzentration auf den Verzweigungsgrad der Polyäthylenimine untersucht. Der Verzweigungsgrad nimmt mit steigender Temperatur (10-80° C) und steigender Säurekonzentration (HCl) zu.

Notes: Der Einfluß von Metallionen auf die Decarboxylierung von Brenztraubensäure, α-Ketobuttersäure und Trimethylbrenztraubensäure wird untersucht. Diese kann in Abhängigkeit von den gewählten Bedingungen nach zwei Richtungen erfolgen. Namentlich in Gegenwart von guten Komplexbildnern wie Al und Cu werden zunächst aldolartige Kondensationsprodukte aus mehreren Ketosäure-Molekülen gebildet, die anschließend unter der Wirkung der Metallionen decarboxyliert werden. Diese Reaktion ist stark pH-abhängig und wird durch Sauerstoff nicht beeinflußt. Dagegen verläuft die oxydative Decarboxylierung der α-Ketosäuren bei Gegenwart von Mn-II-Ionen mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit über einen Radikal-Mechanismus, in dessen Verlauf vornehmlich die um 1 C-Atom ärmeren Fettsäuren entstehen.

Notes: Es werden Versuche beschrieben, bei denen Magnetite durch Fällung unter Luftabschluß hergestellt wurden. Das Oxydationsmittel, entweder Kaliumchlorat oder Kaliumnitrat, wurde vom Unterschuß bis Überschuß zugesetzt. Man erhält im allgemeinen Präparate mit einem höheren Eisen(III)-oxydgehalt als nach den Ansätzen zu erwarten war. Das pyrophore Verhalten dieser Fällung beruht auf einem Gehalt von amorphem Fe(OH)2. Bei veränderter Versuchsdurchführung, wobei Oxydations- und Fällungsmittel portionsweise zugesetzt wurden, trat bei allen Präparaten, die mit weniger als einem Äquivalent Oxydationsmittel hergestellt wurden, auch α-Hydroxyd auf. Es wurden die Remanenzwerte der Präparate gemessen, wobei festgestellt werden konnte, daß die mit einem ¾ oder 1 Äquivalent oxydierten Präparate die höchsten Sättigungsremanenzwerte aufweisen. Die Zusammensetzung einzelner Präparate und ihrer Remanenzwerte bestätigen die Ergebnisse von G. ACKERMANN.
