Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
Summary Computed tomography has established itself as a diagnostic method in post-traumatic lesions of the skeletal system. However, for financial reasons and reasons of capacity, CT cannot replace regular radiography. For the identification of intra-articular fragments, the shape of damaged joints, the degree of impression, injured cruciate ligaments and torn cartilage tissue, CT is only indicated if conventional diagnostic radiology proves inadequate.
