    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse sprechen für die Annahme, daß die in vivo festzustellende Wirkung von Penicillamin auf das Kollagen nicht auf eine Hemmung der Prolin- oder Lysin-Hydroxylase zurückzuführen ist. Indirekt bestätigen diese Befunde die bereits ausgesprochene Vermutung [8], daß Penicillamin in einer späten Phase der Faserbildung, nämlich beim Vorgang der Quervernetzung, eingreift.
    Notes: Summary The results confirm that in vivo the established effect of penicillamine on to collagen cannot be attributed to an inhibition of the proline- or lysine-hydroxylase. These results indirectly corroborate the hypothesis already expressed [8] that, in an advanced phase of the fibre formation, penicillamine intervenes into the function of the cross-linking.

    Notes: Zusammenfassung 1. Jedes Serum läßt sich nach Verdünnen mit Wasser oder physiologischer Kochsalzlösung von 0,8 Teilen an aufwärtskochen, ohne daß Eiweißausflockung auftritt. 2. Beim Aufkochen von unverdünntem Serum werden 2 Koagulationsformen beobachtet, die eine:Auseinandergehen in glashaftende Eiweißkörper unter Auspressung einer opalescierenden Fettsalzlösung wird in der überwiegenden Mehrzahl bei Gesunden und Kranken gefunden. Die andere: nach Aufschäumen ein Zusammensinken des Gesamtserums zu einem Gallertepfropf, der bei weiterem Erhitzen erhalten bleibt, tritt in der überwiegenden Mehrzahl bei Sera maligner Tumoren auf. Auch bei einigen anderen akuten wie chronischen Erkrankungen konnte die gleiche Koagulationsform des Serums beobachtet werden. In den meisten bisher beobachteten Fällen ist jedoch nach Abklingen der Krankheitserscheinungen ein Übergang in die Koagulationsform 1 Gesunder vorhanden.

    Notes: Summary The disposition of clofibrate over 96 hours was observed following single oral dose in six patients with acute viral hepatitis, six patients with liver cirrhosis, seven patients with renal insufficiency, and six control subjects. No parameter of the disposition of CPIB (active form of clofibrate) was significantly altered in acute hepatitis. In liver cirrhosis, the mean plasma half-life was unchanged compared to controls (20.9 vs. 17.5 h), but plasma clearance of the non-protein bound drug was reduced (115 vs. 243 ml×min−1), plasma protein binding was reduced (92.8 vs. 97.2 percent), and the apparent volume of distribution was increased (0.20 vs. 0.141×kg−1). In renal insufficiency plasma half-life was prolonged 2 to 6-fold, depending on the degree of renal impairment. Total plasma clearance (3.4 vs. 7.1 ml×min−1) and plasma clearance of the unbound drug (81 vs. 243 ml×min−1 were reduced in patients with renal failure, the clearance of the unbound drug being inversely correlated with the serum creatinine concentration. Renal failure was also associated with decreased protein binding and an increased volume of distribution of CPIB, and with reduced urinary excretion of CPIB and its glucuronide metabolite. The dose of clofibrate should be halved in patients with cirrhosis. In renal insufficiency, the dose should be adjusted according to the individual serum creatinine level: only 10 to 15% of the usual weekly dose should be given in complete renal failure.

Вычисляются химические потенциалы, объемные коэффициенты и другие термодинамические величины, а также наиболее интересные корреляционные функции для различных примесей, взаимодействующих с атомами4He через потенциалы Леннарда-Джонса различной силы.
    Notes: Summary The paired-phonon analysis for boson mixtures is employed in conjunction with the hypernetted-chain approximation to study the ground-state properties of an impurity embedded in liquid4He. Chemical potentials, volume coefficients and other thermodynamic quantities as well as some of the most interesting optimal correlation functions are calculated for various impurities interacting with the4He background atoms via Lennard-Jones potentials of differing strength.
